  • Set aside a snack to eat on your way home from work so you aren't so hungry when you get home?? That's what I would do if I was having that issue!
  • I measure and weigh EVERYTHING! Even my cereal I eat, I weigh instead of measuring because it's more accurate that way! :)
  • I'm 5'9 as well and back when I was 20-21ish I was around 140 lbs. I definitely felt girly, as I chose to channel my girly side by wearing skirts, cute tops, really cute shoes..all that! Still all my friends are shorter and more petite than I am but you feel a lot better when you are tall and thin! At least I didn't feel…
  • I tried those a few weeks ago and they are actually pretty good! Alton Brown does this thing with bread, avocado, and the canned brislings and puts them in the oven...have yet to try that but I tried the brislings!
  • Hi there! I'm dairy free as well and a cup of soy milk gives me about 30% of my calcium. Then the dark leafy vegetables are great sources of calcium. On days when I notice I'm at the lower end of my calcium I'll make a smoothie with soy milk, banana, strawberries....really whatever I have that sounds good! Hope some of…
  • Nice work!!! Looking great!!
  • Amazing! You look so good! Great job with all that hard work!!
  • My PE teacher in high school taught us how to breathe when running, as she was the cross country coach. In through your nose and out through your mouth at a steady and controlled pace! Try that next time if that's not how you are currently breathing when jogging!
  • How is your breathing?? If your throat starts burning are you breathing in and out through your mouth?
  • Get the Wii, get EA Active, and then get EA Active More Workouts....LOVE it and a fantastic workout!!
  • Did the wall squats and current at 88 oz of water at 4:52 pm....So I'll be over 100 something by the time I go to bed :)
  • I would make up a worksheet with places you are most likely to go with calorie count and all that in case your phone is dead or what not. I have a list made up for the occasional eating out because I can't eat dairy AND I want to it be healthy so it's a lot of work finding both. I'm not sure where you live but everywhere…
  • I've gotten to that point a few times...both in the past when I use to work out a ton and currently. I stop because I get like that when I'm doing crazy intense workouts and my heart rate is super high and I'm way over heated. I would definitely let your body cool down and calm down before getting back into what you are…
  • I think daily challenges are a wonderful idea! That way it's a little something extra on top of everything we do!
  • I'm SO in! I'm all for being a Wowwy!! :) haha I'm such a mom because the first thing that popped in my head when I saw that was the Wow Wow Wubbzy theme song...OH MAN! :)
  • Totally with you!!! Just today I was finishing up my working, sweat pouring off of me...in my eyes...trying to catch my breath....I LOVE IT!! Couldn't feel more satisfied with myself at that moment because I freaking rocked it. I love it!
  • Sweet!! Thank you!! I look on vegan sites quite often but I always get so into all the recipes I never make it to any desserts lol!! Thank you so much!!
  • I love you for this lol! I'm dairy free and I don't know the last time I had a brownie...even something healthy that's a sweet for that matter. Definitely willing to try these out! Thank you!
  • That's soooo cute!! Love your story! Mine is my *alter ego* from my high school days. My friends and I all had names that we would call each other when we were out or writing notes to each other. I was Jaedyn Moon...one of my friends was Trixie something....another one Kelly Starr....and that's the only ones I remember :)
  • Go into the food tab and go to recipes...then create your own recipe. That's how I do it. You can say how many servings are in the item and it breaks that all down for you after entering how much of everything you use!
  • I'm a SAHM as well to a 2 1/2 year old little girl. Zoey knows mommy has "workout time" in the morning and I always set her up with an activity to do while I work out. I usually do it in 30 minute spurts throughout the day. If I feel like working out more after she's in bed I'll work out for a little bit more and then…
  • I always work out on my period! I feel 1000% better after my workout than before!! Exercise helps with PMS and period symptoms!
  • I'm dairy-free, casine free, and whey free due to horrible lactose intolerance. I'm still healthy because I get calcium from non-dairy items like vegetables, fruits...all that stuff. Do some reading on what dairy does to the body and make your own decision. I'm pretty positive that even if I wasn't lactose intolerant I…
  • Just rub it in why don't you ;) Amazing work! You look fantastic and should be so proud of all that hard work! ETA: Don't give it either! If you've met where you want to be just maintain!

  • Mine are almost gone!! I've been doing lots of squats and running/jogging/and long high energy walks (like at 4.0 or 4.5 mph average). Thighs are always my problem area so I'm so thankful how they have shrunk so much!! Good luck! You can totally do it!
  • Totally agree with what you said. What we are doing here with MFP is really the best. Eating real, healthy foods...changing the way we eat. Would I do Slim Fast again? Nope! But I am forever grateful for when I did use it at 18 that is helped change my life and get me on a healthy path!
  • After I graduated high school in 2003 I used slim fast and the gym to help me lose 111 lbs. Worked well for me then and I've totally recommended it to people who are looking for a structured diet to follow...I did 2 meals a day as slim fast meals and the rest how the recommend. I can't touch the stuff now because of the…
