Dulcolax is very gentle, won't cause cramping and won't cause a total blowout. Take it before bed and things will be moving better in the morning. Then hydrate like crazy!!!!

Not a dumb question- I eat them cold because I'm not sure how I feel about yogurt heated up but it's totally up to you. Any kind of oats will work fine.

Lack of protein won't keep you from losing weight. The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in. That being said, I've been vegetarian for over 2 years and easilly get 120-160 g of protein a day-feel free to check out my diary for ideas.

I've been vegetarian for over 2 years and I have Crohn's disease and used to be severely anemic-to the point where I had to get 6 IV iron infusions. That was definitely a wake up call that I need to pay attention to how much iron I ingest. Oatmeal, kale, snow peas, sugar snap peas, quinoa and blackstrap molasses and most…

I would say first, go see your dr. Second, maybe try using an eliptical instead of a treadmill-maybe removing the impact will help.

I've never really cared for regular dairy milk, but I love Silk Light Soy Milk. It's free of GMOs and it has lots of protein. My husband and I have been using it for about 10 years and really like it.

Too much protein won't make you fat. Too much carbs won't make you fat. Too much sugar won't make you fat. Too much fat won't make you fat. Excess calories is what makes you gain weight, no matter what the source is. Eating adequate amounts of protein while in a calorie deficit will help you retain muscle while losing fat.…

My acid reflux is the result of Crohn's disease & the medicine for the reflux makes me sick to my stomach so I try to only take it if I have to...tonight I had to. I just finished up week 10 of P90X so its been bothering me for a while so I thought I would see if anyone else had the same problem. As far as diet, I don't…

I've been vegetarian for over 2 years & get about 35% of my calories from protein. It's really not difficult. Feel free to look through my diary for ideas.

make sure you eat a cup of chia seeds while you're doing it and like 12 raspberry ketones after it *on a rather embarassing side note, I just found out what raspberry ketones were when I googled it out of curosity yesterday...I thought it was some sort of colonic (i don't know why) and I was really wondering why raspberry…

Excess calories cause weight gain.

about 10 years ago I lost 20 lbs using Slim Fast shakes, bars & pasta...I gained back 35. I've since lost the 35 but it took a long time. There's just no replacement for eating right and exercising.

I had emergency galbladder surgery when I was 20. Having your galbladder removed does not necessarilly cause IBS. Your galbladder produces bile which help break down different foods, so without it you can definitely have some gastrointestinal issues, without it being IBS (which is kind of a catch all term when the dr…

I workout in the evenings, after dinner and eat meal 6, my post-workout meal around 10pm everyday. It doesn't matter when you eat your calories, it matters how many total calories you eat and how many you burn. if you don't want to go over your daily calories, try having a list of 100 or 200 calories snacks and just pick…

Your protein seems REALLY low, as does your calories.

I like Homemade Pumpkin Protein bars, greek yogurt with a little stevia & pb2, wasa crackers with edamame hummus. For my 4th meal (i eat 6 per day) I like snow peas or sugar snap peas, sweet peppers, raw almonds and a low fat cheese stick (I can't eat full fat dairy). Feel free to look at my diary for ideas.

Depends what your goal is. I love regular peanut butter but I have trouble processing fats (another lovely effect of Crohn's disease) so I can only eat a little bit (less than 1 T) before it bothers my stomach. PB2 is really handy for mixing into yogurt or shakes since it's in powder form. I've had it on a pb&j sandwich…

I'm not sure that the nutrition facts are correct on your salmon-the calories & especially the protein seem freakishly high, unless it was like 3 servings.

polar FT4 will do everything you need and you can get it on amazon for like $60...and it even comes in pink :)

My friend's husband ate a bunch not realizing they were fiber brownies and had to run out of the shower (that'll teach him to read the box!) But he said they were really good. I'm guessing that eating one and not like 3 will be a better move :)

My husband is an awesome guy and works like 60 hours a week. I love him & like to do nice things for him, like make him dinner. We have differnet tastes and different nutritional needs (I have Chron's disease which brings with it multiple dietary restrictions). Plus, it's my business if I make him dinner, I even hand him…

I really haven't seen much change in mine but I do P90x which does a lot of strength training, especially in the chest area. Working out the chest area is seriously like a free boob lift. I highly reccomend it to any women!
