Yes, I take a ginseng pill twice a day. I bought them at the local "supercenter" in the vitamin isle. I just looked at the bottle and it boasts "General Stress Relief and Energy". I don't know if this played a role in defeating my most recent plateau, but it definitely hasn't hurt me~~~yet !

I am by no means claiming to be a doctor...but, I hit a plateau and starting taking ginseng. I don't know if it helps, but since I started taking it, I've lost 2lbs each week without changing my exercise or eating habits.

I used to feel guilty about bad food choices, even if I was only having a bite, a taste or half. But, I decided that since I am not just dieting, I am making a lifestyle change, it is not feasible for me to assume that never again will I ever eat a chocolate chip cookie because it has 230 calories in it (fresh baked) So…

One of my favorite "mini" meals is steamed shrimp with a steamed fresh vegetable and brown rice. It is 199 calories and delicious! You can double up on the rice, or add cocktail sauce if you can't have the veggies. Great Value - Instant Brown Rice, 0.5 cup 75 17 1 2 1 0 Generic - Fresh Green Beans, Steamed, 1…

If you have 135lbs to lose, and are living such an active life, 1230 calories is not nearly enough! Here's a good tool...Do a fake diary entry of all the things you would eat, or used to eat. Record the calorie total. Then, cut back about 500 calories a day, while eating healthier. This way, you'll lose an easy 1lb per…

I actually discussed this situation with my doctor. Doctor said that it usually happens to people who have trouble digesting lactose (which I do). Be weary of what you eat for 8 hours before a run. I stopped the morning cereal and switched to a lactose free oatmeal before a run.

Great Job! Stay positive and keep up the good work!

I don' t binge because I know that once I cross over to the dark side, I won't come back! I do however, allow myself a "taste" of whatever foods I am craving. A lot of times, a taste is all I need. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods

Jello makes a sugar free chocolate swirl called "Liv Activ" it has the same live cultures in it as yogurt to help with digestion. It is delicious!!

I like it a lot! I try to do it at least once a week. The first few times I did it, I was sore afterward. You can view the full Level 1 for free on www.exercisetv.com. Try it before you buy it!

Thank you everyone for your ideas. I am making a list of foods so I can take it with me while I check out that menu! Thank you for that website! It was really helpful!

I just wanted to add... The original recipe called for 1lb b/s chicken, 8oz apricot preserves, 8oz creamy russian dressing, 1 packet onion soup mix.

Thanks! I have been looking for this!

If I am doing the circuit, I usually wet a towel with the cleaning solution and carry it with me. I give each machine a quick wipe before and after, and then move on. Sure it might not be the most effective, but at least the people around you won't give you dirty looks. :)

Ha ha ha! You are not alone...My first zumba class was in front of a bunch of ladies who had been in the group for months. They were very serious about the class, and didn't laugh at themselves. I felt like a complete idiot with two left feet. To make matters worse, I was facing a huge mirrored wall, so I was embarrassed…

I have the Jillian Michaels "Yoga Meltdown". I really like it. This is a yoga-inspired cardio workout. The first few times I did it, I was sore for a few days after, but once you get into it, your body adjusts. I find that I am much more flexible and strong. It is a much better workout than 30 minutes on the treadmill, in…

I too have a small foot that is wide. I found a pair of Nike Zoom at Sneaker King that fit great! They are not wide width, but the shoes run wide. I think I paid $55 for them! I hope this helps.
