Once again thank you all for your most kind comments, thanks to my fitness buddies and the best of luck on your journeys. ;-)

Thank you for your kind comments. Success would be staying In shape and keeping the weight off but the good results so far I put down to MyFitnessPal and some exceptional fitness buddies providing plenty of encouragement and inspiration. I started by mainly dieting and gradually over six months changed my food choices for…

There is a sauce but not overwhelming. I love the idea of seaweed salad ! I've had seaweed in Chinese restaurants a few times, I really like it.

I have tried to make it a few times myself and failed miserably. This is the original ; http://www.princes.co.uk/our-products/fish/tuna/tuna-salads/mexican-tuna-salad

I'm from the UK and I've just had a bath.

Wow, I know you've been doing well but when you see the photos it really hammers home what a great achievement you have already accomplished. You are on a mission. Well done, you look great ! :-)

Delighted for you and what an inspiration you are. Well done ! :-)

I too would go for a stir fry, chicken with green peppers in blackbean sauce with plenty of bamboo shoots and stir fry vegetables. Both interesting and inspirational to see people's preferred ultra low calorie meals.

I have a repulsion, almost a fear of buttons.

Obviously I too had children later in life. It's the best thing I ever did. It's both an inspiration to get fit and stay healthy and also a reason why I find it hard to get fit and stay healthy. I wouldn't have it any other way though. :-)

Thanks for all the replies and I suppose those moments that made us all feel uncomfortable enough to avoid or psychologically block out have in the end proven to be our inspiration. Really I should be grateful that the camera doesn't lie because it has set me on an important mission which otherwise I would never have made.…

Dr Doolittle. The man must be as comfortable with your pets as he is with you.

Force yourself to go without it for a few days and eat healthily then try your favourite fast food as a treat. It won't be as nice as you remember it was and you will be all the happier to go without it.

Your reply struck a chord with me. I too appear in very few photographs with my young children even though my wife and I snap them all the time. I have avoided it, there is no doubt and that is such a shame for me and my children. What a great trigger to get in shape.
