I was lucky my older daughter napped until she started kindergarten. My younger one stopped around 3. I did the same as someone above mentioned--quiet time where they can draw, color, quiet play for an hour. They are 9 and 6 now and we still do quiet time on school breaks/weekends. Sometimes they fall asleep, but usually…

I'm back! I am starting from week 1 again because I took a good 2 mos off :#

The book I have says (Ch. 7, p.60) that it should go Day 1: A Day 2: B Day 3: Active rest Day 4 A Day 5: C Day 6 Active rest Day 7: complete rest but I did see the same thing writtern on the spreadsheets, which is a little confusing. I have been doing it Day 1: A day 2: Active rest Day 3: b day 4 Active rest day 5 C day 6…

I just finished my first week of workouts ABC for the Gluteal Goddess program. I like it...there are a few exercises I might replace (that kneeling karate chop bar one is awkward for me), but all together I really like this program and the DOMS I feel the next day! Has anyone finished the GG program or working on it now?

Thanks!! That makes sense!
-
No! That's a great idea :) Thanks! I have adjustable dumbbells at home that are nice, but they are so long that it gets unwiedly as you increase weight. Putting them in a backpack would be worth a try!

^^^ Thanks! I was on my phone earlier so I couldn't type in too much detail. Basically, I have been having hip pain since Oct. First I thought it was a form issue so I backed off weight (I was at 105) and went back to the bar to fix my form. There wasn't much I needed to change there so then I took my time reloading-doing…

Thanks! I was trying to spare you guys the whole long story but I have been to an ortho and am doing PT. The PT suggested weighted lunges, but those don't feel as rigorous as the squats because I can't hold as much weight, so I was wondering if anyone had some success with other exercises. Thanks :)

Due to injury in my hip. I have no problem with lunges and have done the legs press machine too ( but didn't feel like it did much)

Agreed--I just finished one and they are so tasty. Sweet not overwhelming! ETA: The Quest Apple Pie is great too!

I like this site. http://dressmyrun.com/ You can adjust for your comfort too.

I like the dole chocolate covered frozen strawberries. I think 4 of them is 60 cals. They are expensive though!!! Like pp said, I would try and fit it in--I have a few squares of dark chocolate at night and it is a satisfying end to my day. I also really like Sour Patch Kids--I think a pack is about 150 cals.

This is what I do too. I haven't struggled too much. The hard part is all the sitting. Last year I taught in a classroom and so I was constantly walking-I NEVER sat. This year I teach from home (cyber school), so I am rarely moving. I had to set an alarm on my phone to remind myself to get up and move!

This thread is directly responsible for my purchase of 2 at CVS yesterday. And I'm not sorry. Frozen is the best!

I didn't like the PB one either--I think that is the worst. The apple pie and the vanilla almond crunch are really tasty.

Thanks--I am not lucky enough to have my own set-up (yet) so I am stuck with what my gym has. My deal to myself was if I could do strength training for a year consistently, I would drop my gym membership and invest in my own equipment.

I waited until after my 1/2 to really focus on SL. When you get up there in weight, your body needs the rest days. No way I could do SL 3X/week and then run 3 medium to long runs a week. As someone else mentioned, I am sure it is doable if you modify, but performance in something will probably suffer a bit.

I want to be able to eat off of that colon by the time I am done cleansing

I could have written the above post! There have been times where I successfully squat the weight but do it again the next time because I just don't feel ready to increase. I love it! The group recommended above is amazingly helpful and very friendly.

How will you know when you are sufficiently cleansed?

Goals: Find someone to video me so I can get some form feedback. I *feel* like I am doing everything well in my squat and DL but it is hard to watch myself and still focus on form as the weights get heavier. Squat: I'd like to hit BW this month....but this goal is tentative based on if I can get someone to watch my form.…

Good luck!! 50lbs for an OHP sounds amazing to me!
-
Just an update! It took a few weeks but yesterday I kicked *kitten* on my 35lb OHP. Can't wait to see what happens next week :) Thanks for the help!!

I have fibromyalgia and I run :) Feel free to messge me!
-
How did it go? Today I did the 5X6 @30Lbs...and to be honest, it was a struggle still! So we'll see. Like I said, I am no hurry to rush and increase weight if I am not ready....just want to be sure I am safe. I threw in some accesories too--reverse flies.

Thank you everyone!!! :flowerforyou: Hopefully I'll be back to report success!

I know this isn't directly to working out, but be sure to wipe down your cell phone, especially if you use it during workouts to track/listen to music, etc. I try to wipe mine down every night but when I forget, I almost immediately break out along my jawline where I hold my phone when I talk on it--lots of bacteria from…

You look happy and lovely! Great work!

I swear they really aren't double stuffed. I think they just rebranded the originals as "Double" and then created a new "original" with just half the original filling....or something. Point: WANT MORE FILLING!!!

I like to make an egg sandwich or an egg casserole. You can add any veggie/meat/cheese you want and it always tastes good!
