Moncton, NB, Canada. It's -4C (25F), but feels -11C (12F). It's pretty warm today because it's snowing a lot. No school! Yesterday, it felt like -30C, so -22F!!!!

I live in Canada, and the Canada's food guide recommends adults to eat 2-3 portions of milk and alternatives (depending on age and gender). One portion is 1 cup of milk, or 1.5 oz of cheese or 3/4 cup of yogurt. I don't see a problem with your eating if it's recommended by Health Canada! :happy:

I LOOOOVE ice cream!! I recently discovered I could freeze some yogourt in little drops on a parchement paper and then eat that instead of ice cream. I Freeze it for 45 minutes and it's the perfect consistency. Or I freeze it for longer and let it melt for 10 minutes. Yummy!! It's my evening snack. :heart:

I think sedentary is for your work. If you're sitting all day in front of a computer, than you're sedentary. I guess it counts for about 8 hours a day. Everything you do after work you log it into exercise. If you are a postman than you don't put it like you're sedentary, you put active. But you don't log that exercise…

I was told the sugar goal that mfp gives us is way too low. So I don't worry about it. I don't even track it anymore. I try to eat at least 3 fruits everyday and even more vegetables. It's all good.

When I don't eat enough for breakfast, I crave food all day. I saw in your diary that you had a small breakfast, small lunch, then big dinner. I think that's why you want to eat after dinner. Try having a bigger breakfast and see what it does.

Do you cook your steel cut oats before blending it? Because I sometimes put in some regular oatmeal, but I cook it first. I don't use whey powders in my smoothies, I either use silk tofu OR pasteurized egg whites (from a carton).

I have a tennis racquet and a ball and I go to a school nearby (outside of school hours) where I can hit balls on the side of the brick wall. My children love to come with me and we often do little tournaments. We don't have expensive equipement but we have a lot of fun.

You eat! I like popcorn or yogurt or a bowl of cereal. If you ate a light supper, it's like you're finishing your supper a little later! I'm not a big fan of starving myself. If I'm hungry, I eat something. Sometimes I will do a little bit of exercice before eating (or after!). Good luck!

I try my best to eat three balanced meals everyday, but when I'm in a rush, I sometimes turn to Carnation Instant Breakfast because of its high content in iron (50%). It tastes great, and fills me up. It was suggested to me by a nutritionist for my son who doesn't eat meat and needed a little more iron.
