  • JUST an FYI - it is impossible to gain 0.5lbs of muscle weight each day! Bodybuilders will bulk for months and months and do heavy weight training to gain muscle. It's a very difficult thing to do and takes long periods of time, not days.

  • Clean diet and exercise. Makes sure to add weight training to your routine. Do not do abs more that 3 times a week giving them recovery time between workouts just like any other muscle group. Good luck!

  • You are correct that it doesn't matter when you do either....Just a side note though...people need to remember that they should not be weight training on an empty stomach right when they wake up in the morning! It defeats the purpose of trying to grow the muscles.

  • I have a routine but I change it often. Cardio is always different (walking, jogging, hilly walks, stair climber, roller-blading, bike riding, jump rope, etc.) and weight training is consistant but differs from week to week. I guess a lot of it does depend on my mood!
