Gala and Gray Smith ... with chunky peanut putter of course!

You said you eat 1400 now, up that to 1600 and see how it affects your body. EDIT: make sure they are clean calories though, not junk Lifting heavy means that you don't hurt yourself but it's a struggle to get the last couple of reps in on a set.

In the link above, edit so the IMG at the beginning and the end are lower case img

Abs are made in the kitchen not the gym. Too much ab work will make your tummy look bigger due to increased muscle size over time and the layer of fat still covering it. If you still have a pooch, it usually means you still have fat to burn. Make sure your diet is super clean and up your cardio while still doing weight…

Everything in moderation is what I say. I love my ice cream! Pop tarts...not so much but I can't see a single reason to argue with your logic. If it works for you...ENJOY! ;-)

Cardio only is fine for losing weight but you won't shape your body with it. Try circuit training...kills two birds with one stone and you are in and out quick!
-
I do cardio 6-7 days a week and lift weights 3-5 depending.

Have any one of you done it? "NO" Would any of you consider it? "YES" Is long Distance a deal breaker? Depends on the relationship and the situation. I lived apart from my husband for a year (me and the kids in AZ and him in CA). He drove out once a month for the weekend. It was the hardest thing I've ever been through. We…

Is it time to go home yet????

HUH?

Ditto!

It's a very common practice for photo shoots. It all depends on what the client wants for the photo. It's more about what it represents and the art than the actual size of the dumbbell :-)
-
Actually you probably are! My husband is a professional fitness photographer and the models rarely if ever hold heavy weights for photo shoots. Posing is a lot of work in itself and if they have to hold heavy weights for hours while posing for a shoot, they exhaust the muscles too quick.

Great advice! bodybuiling.com is a great resource. That's where I got started and didn't get an MFP account till years after I reached me goal!

Mine were like deflated balloons after breastfeeding. I was always a small B cup. Full D while breasfeeding and then a small saggy not quite full B after I stopped breastfeeding. Implants were my savior and I would do it all over again....but I like big vs small....just personal preference!

WOW - amazing! Good work!

I think a lot of people just don't know how to properly communicate and some are just outright dumb. I always get the "You look great for having 2 kids"! Really...so if I looked like this and didn't have kids I wouldn't look great? Explain that one to me...! Like I said, stupid, stupid stupid and some are just mean!
-
nope...I want quick results so I maintain the greatest deficit possible

Ate too much and didn't move enough! Got fat. Then I realized I hated looking in the mirror and changed things.

I haven't actually dieted in quite some time but when I did, I averaged 2lbs per week

^^^^ THIS!

Once a day on non workout days, a second time after I workout on workout days! :-)
-
No you can't! Starvation mode is something your body will go into after an extended period of time (weeks or months or even longer) of not eating enough to sustain your daily life.

mmm mmm mmm

comfy stuff! work out pants or shorts, sports bra and tank top :-)
-
Nothing...I hate Valentine's Day! Always have, always will. We boycott this holiday but we do give the kids a small box of candy :-)
-
Yeah I'm not big on MILF either, especially when it's coming from someone who is young enough to be my kid...lol
-
^^ This is funny...my husbands friends say the same about him...we are only 10 years apart though ;-)
-
I only gave it up because of the empty calories but I have found that my life is much fuller without it. I do have more energy and motivation to do things other than drink and sit around.

Any gym that gets you motivated and exercising is a good one!
