  • Are you feeling hungry all the time? sluggish? ill? Do you find it difficult to stick to those calories? If not then I can't see what harm you are doing, but then again I am no expert
  • Wow, that is amazing! When did you first notice a difference, I have done day 1 workout 14 times now but over 26 days so started again, the last 4 have been consecutive days, aiming for 8 consecutive workouts before I move onto level 2 but I haven't noticed any difference in my shape yet.. I'm wondering if it comes form…
  • that is a fantastic transformation - how did you do that?!!
  • Congratulations :)
  • wow amazing - what a beautiful family too - 6 kids I don't know how you do it!!
  • Hi, I am the same age and weight and my HRM readings not dissimilar to yours, sometimes up to 190 when I am running hard but normally around the 160-170 range I occasionally get a random reading of 230 but not often, and I reckon always a malfunction as it is normally at the start of the workout Clare
  • Went for Hot chocolate, with semi skimmed milk and a chocolate chip muffin... not the best choices, estimated 740 kcals based on starbucks. Hope I have over estimated but better than than under. Delicious though! Might have to do two sessions of 30 day shred tomorrow!! LOL

  • I drink hot water and lemon every morning. I love it The acid in the lemon might not be good for tooth enamel but I am just guessing
  • I am loving all your replies :) Thank you for taking the time to help This has been my hardest decision today, this week actually - gotta love first world problems... I'm not wearing socks today, will that make a difference? The chocolates are amazing, as are the brownies, I haven't tried the hot chocolate before... why is…

  • Just wow! To all the other photos posted too!
  • I am on 1,200 calories a day, but taking into account my weekends I'm averaging around the 1,300 mark for the past 10 weeks. I sometimes eat back my exercise calories but not always. I have lost about 3lbs on the scales but my Body Fat% has dropped from 34% to 30%, which is the equivalent of around 5lbs. Clare ps. I…
  • I have always hated clothes shopping, right from childhood to now. If I don't like the first thing I try on because it is unflattering I know that the shopping is going to be a complete disaster. I barely have any clothes newer than 4 years old. I start a new job in 6 weeks and I'm dreading it because I know I really need…
  • I'm a repeat MFPer, but this time I have stuck with it, 30 days straight now and it has made a difference... My advice log every day even the bad ones, it makes a real difference. Good luck on your journey, add me if you want. At the moment I'm logging on every day qwuite a few times (it is very quiet at work)
  • Well done. Weight loss and obstacle course mud run! Look at the calves on you, very lean!
  • I have had 3 heart rate monitors, the first one didn't have a chest strap and I found it very inaccurate, the 2 I have now are both Polar, I have 2, Polar FT4 and RS100 as I just fancied a new one but the FT4 is the best one of the two. The RS100 annoys me because it only stores the information for the last workout, and…
  • I was going to do the first one today so I will join you. Anyone feel free to add me as a friend, we can motivate each other, I think I will find it hard to do it without the friendly 'pressure' :)
  • WOW! what a difference fantastic work and despite what you say... inspirational :)
  • I'm 5ft 2 and currently weigh 136lbs, want to get down to 126lbs to begin with (I have lost 3lbs already) I am pretty unhappy with how I look, I think that is more to do with my High Body Fat % - currently 31% was 18% before I had my son 4 years ago I am exercising twice a day during the week but they won't be continuing…
  • When I am running for 30 minutes I normally avearge around the 180 mark according to my HRM, sometimes hitting the mid 190's. I have checked with lots of Personal Trainers about this about this as I was concerned about how high it was going, but I am able to still chat (a little) when it is this high so apparently that is…
  • Fantastic work, well done :) excellent weight loss :)
  • You look amazing, what a transformation!!
  • I weigh every day and keep a spreadsheet to show the fluctuations :) My graph looks like a heart beat monitor, constantly up and down but the trend line is on a downward slope :) It used to stress me out but since I have been tracking it on a spreadsheet I am a lot calmer about it... weird I know
  • I have had this for years from my Mum. I was always a heavy kid and it was always mentioned by my Mum after Uni I toook up running and lost a lot of weight and became very healthy, she didn't like this either she always tried to encourage me to stay at home rather than go out running or she would tell me it was low fat…
  • wow you look amazing!!!! Such a strong person
  • I have electronic kitchen sclaes - I think they might be made in the US though, they measure in grams, ounces and cups :) also has a different measurement for UK fluids and US fluids. Water weighs differently over the pond I believe ;) I couldn't bake without my scales!!
  • I couldn't agree more, 5'2" and basic calories to maintain weight is around 1,500 or as I like to call it nothing!! down around 1,350 to try and lose the pounds that class me as overweight according to BMI (and the mirror)
  • I wear a HRM and as a rule of thumb normally I manage 100-120 calories per 10 minutes of Cardio exercise. I would say 1100 sounds a bit too high, although I'm not sure how that could have happened
  • I have only managed to stay around 1,200 calories for 13 days out of a possible 37! Rubbish! I fall down because I like cake and chocolate, I struggle to get through a day without at least one of each! I do exercise most weekdays to try and help but I can't stop eating!! Help motivate me and keep me strong
