  • I thnk Sponge Bob has a square penis...... I mean, he does wear square pants!
  • Really? Every single person that said anything similiar to what I said that you know ended up in the hospital for malnourishment? I guess that means I am headed to the hospital soon even though I think I am very healthy and my doctor agrees.
  • Great post!! Glad to see you have things under control now and good luck on becoming a doctor, I'm sure you'll be a great one!
  • I didnt neccesarily "recommend" anything. I am just stating that when people are 300,400 whatever pounds, its great that they are doing anything they can do get the weight off. We have lots of fat stored and each person can observe how eating less effects them personally. Rather than people telling them what they are doing…
  • I apologize for not being more clear. I am talking about only people who are overweight and doing what they have to do to lose the weight. I know there are some that come here to maintain fitness or even gain weight, but the majority are people like myself who have or had a considerable amount of weight they needed to or…
  • I use RunKeeper for runs and outdoor walks. I use Striiv as a pedometer and daily measure. I think they both work really well. Striiv also connects to MFP, so I prefer it and lets it track all my calories rather than enter the workouts indivdually. It probably tracks lower, but IMO thats better than making you think you…
  • I have already lost the majority of my weight but I need to lose more, so this should be fun, I'm in!
  • I absolutely love Coke Zero and I usually drink 1 Coke Zero for every bottle of water.... So most days I drink around 4-5 bottles of water and 4-5 bottles of Coke Zero. I know its probably bad for me, but my weight is dropping off even with the Coke Zero and they taste sooo good....lol
  • I agree!! Thanks!! That is what I plan on doing.... Nice to hear you had success!
  • You edited your post before I could respond...lol You really told me to go enjoy my new eating disorder? Really? Wow......
  • I think you meant 10 pounds per month... If I were losing 10 pounds per week, we would have a story!! lol I have been increasing my cardio each month and still losing 10 pounds per month but Im definitely having to work harder. I think 2.5 pounds per week is healthy.......
  • Thanks for all the responses and discussion.... I think based on all the posts, I will continue to do what I am doing until I reach around 215 and at that time, I will add in some strength training and add more calories to my diet. I will slow roll that until I can reach around 200 to 205 where I want to be and then…
  • Thanks for your response, that makes sense and was more in line with what I was thinking, it just does not seem to be a popular belief around here.
  • I am 6'0 tall and have a large frame anyways. I believe to be "normal" weight, Im suggested to be 186. That aint gonna happen!! LOL I am technically obese now at 234, which was hard for me to believe, cause I do not think I look "obese". I need to get to 219 to just be "overweight". I'll see what it looks and feels like…
  • I use an app called Striiv that counts my steps and tells me how many calories I burned. I have an electronic exercise bike that calculates calories burned on there. I don't weigh any of my food, but usually do not need to, most things I eat are packaged and have a clear calorie amount on the label. I am a terrible eater,…
  • I hear you on that, but I would hardly classify myself as anorexic. (Not saying you were saying that either) I have become addicted to exercising and dont want to stop. My legs have gotten very muscular from all the walking and biking. So if I kept that up I would have to eat nearly 3000 calories each day to get to the…
  • A world of hurt? Thats the kind of comments I am speaking of. What does that mean? My head will explode? My legs may fall off? I feel great. I have went to the doctor and had everything checked out last month and the only thing that was out of kilter was my bilirubin levels, which I think have nothing to do with exercise…
  • I can't lie.... When I am at work I drink lots of water (because its purified here and free). When I am at work, I walk indoors in a/c. I work 3-4 days per week. The other days when I am at home and I walk outside or do yard work, golf in the heat I do not drink water very often. I drink Coke Zero. I feel great though.
  • I have battled weight since my early 20's (I am 38 now). Sometimes I have won and sometimes I have lost. My largest was 380 back in 2004 and I managed to get back to around 215 by 2007. I then gained back to around 280 at the start of 2011. I was getting married in June 2011 so I went hard and weighed in at 235 on my…
