You could do any kind of strength training and do cardio on the days that you can move more. I am doing Chalene Extreme and there isn't much moving around.

I use Shakeology as a breakfast shake. Its is loaded with all your daily nutrients plus protein and it has helped me lost #15lbs. I add fruit, juice or other things depending on my tast for the day. Its amazing!!!! message me if you want more details :)

You can add it as "your" exercises and it will keep that title there. So whenver you use that DVD you just update the time and calories.

I am set at 1300 and whatever I burn in excercise I always eat. If you go under I would not go under more thatn 1-200 calories because then you are getting into a defecit. Try this for a week and see how it goes. It sounds like you are doing all the right things!

I have been taking Emergen C - its a powder vitamin that you mix with water. I feel amazing!!! I work 2 jobs and my own business plus have 2 kids and a husband to take care of.. so lately I have been very run down. A friend of mine told me about them and they are amazing!!

It is an amazing workout!! It kicked my butt! If you have been exercising for awhile this is a great way to ramp it up.. but if you are new to exercise this is not the place to start. Those days sould be sufficient! 80% of weightloss is diet so just watch your calories during the week. Get exercise on those days anyway you can. I have a shake for breakfast. The one I have has vitamins, minerals and all the good stuff I need for the day. I usually add stuff like peanut butter if I have the chocolate or OJ and fruiit if I have the other flavor. It is easy and fills me up. You have to eat so make sure you do ;)

Is your friend expecting you to keep up? Alot of the 5ks I have been involved in are run/walk. So do what you can. But do it! It is a great experience and even if you walk most of it.. you are out there doing it. Thats what counts.

Do not go below 1200 calories. You need that just to function and if you go any lower you will not lose weight. If you are working out then you may need to kick up your workouts, if you do workout you may want to change what you are doing. I agree maybe changing your foods adding new stuff.
