Well, JoRocka, if you buy it for me, I'll do the whole workout just for you...in the meantime, didn't need to hear what you thought, thank you:flowerforyou:

Nice!! A pound a day? That's pretty good!!:drinker:
-
Yeah, I got it at that price...that's a pretty good deal, considering how much the other Beachbody stuff costs.
-
Thank you! I applaud you for doing Insanity...I don't have the courage to try that:smile:

Honey, you are SO not alone!! I go on this roller coaster every year in January..I start out doing well, pounds drop, then I hit the plateau, get frustrated, give up, try again next year. This year I'm doing it and sticking to it...like so many others have said, don't be so restrictive in what you eat, don't beat yourself…

This is not a challenge for me..it's a component of my church's collective Consecration...we do this 3 days a week, and it does make a difference, even though weight loss is not the goal. :)

I think the big deal about meat has to do with protein, but there are other good sources of protein that are not meat, such as dairy and certain veggies.

These are great, too!!!

@ Pkdarlin, that's GREAT!!! That gives me hope that it will work. On his other plan, Extreme Fat Smash, I had success, but, the food choices were terrible on that one. I like the Shred plan better. I've tried to get past the minimum exercise required, but I've started concentrating on ab work, so, the minimum is about all…

I have followed one of his other programs, and it DOES work...this is a "too good to be true" that actually IS true. If you've never tried it, read the book, or are even the slightest bit familiar with it, don't be so quick to knock it. Some of us, namely me, are big Dr. Ian fans...his mission is to help people, this is…

It's a book by Dr. Ian Smith, and it can be found at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, and it's also digital.

I'm almost 40, and yes, yes I am fighting the battle...good luck to you.

Vitamins, anything that has no calories in it, and the tiniest amount of food that may be on my fingers...I do not log cheese curl dust, or anything ridiculous like that. I do log alcohol, if I drink, I've even logged that one tater tot that I swiped from my kid's plate. Thats it...to log every single little thing that…

Not as much as I have lost doing exercise...I have children too, but exercise helps a whole lot...I'm not a fan of exercise, but I know it's beneficial to my overall well being. Just find something fun...I recommend Zumba....dancing with spurts of exercise thrown in, but it's so much fun, you don't feel like ur exercising.…

I am a chocoholic....I have gotten better about rationing it out, but I still love it. I also like trail mix, dried fruit, raw fruit, caramel rice cakes, I could go on, but you and I don't have the time!!...lol...I try to go to sleep before the cravings get really bad. I have found that the later I stay up, the worse my…

Have you tried the Leslie Sansone DVDs? Her walking programs are designed to slim the thighs, and it's good cardio.

Good for you, for stepping back into the journey....I personally don't know anything about being 300+ pounds, but I do know about trying to lose excess weight. I've started and stopped many a diet....I had to finally make up my mind that this will be a lifestyle change. By some peoples' standards I would be considered…

These are my thoughts almost exactly!!! Once I stopped drinking, the weight fell off. If I do drink, which is rare these days, it does make me want to eat more. The weight does come off when you replace booze with water or tea or something healthier.

I'm 5'2...will that do?

I love it!!! Especially the part about being a "crying, quivering mass on the floor rubbing Sensa all over yourself" (I paraphrase)...I laughed, loud, and alot because you spoke my very thoughts!!! I admit to stressing just a little about the upcoming SuperBowl party, but as you said, if I want it, I'm gonna eat it!!! Its…

Thanks everyone...btw..my husband is supportive, but not so supportive he wants to join me (even though he says he will)...I lock myself in my room, too.

I have two teenagers, and I also have a 5 year old....I try hard to do my workouts before she gets home from school..otherwise, what should take 30 minutes will take 2 hours because of interruptions:smile: Good luck, and feel free to friend me.
