No meanness here..that looks GREAT!!! Here I am being disciplined!!! Good for you for not depriving yourself of what you like!!! Kudos!!:drinker:

You've gotta ramp up your activity...your body may be used to how you're burning fat,so you have to switch it up...I know, I've been there done it. The body gets used to your routine, so it doesn't use as many calories to do what you do...(known fact). Don't sweat it, you'll be fine, don't let it get you discouraged.

Special K makes good protein bars and shakes...they make meal bars and snack bars....they are not too bad price-wise, either:smile:

If this is really him...looks like someone superimposed his head onto someone else's body.

No more asking questions for me because people on here just take things to a new level. It was simple curiosity that had me asking in the first place. I already do the healthy thing, thanks so much.

Ummm..thank you, I was just asking...I didn't say I was planning to try any of it. I already know how to eat, I've been on this path for a month, and it is working. But, thanks again, for telling me what I already know. I was asking a question. Have a great day.

Those options are available on the Wii, too...low, medium, or high intensity...u can customize your own classes, put your own class together, make it as short or as long as you want (up to 12 songs). It's great!

I have Zumba on the Wii, that is waaaay fun, and you can do it in the privacy of your own home. I'm late to the conversation, but I thought I would put that out there...lol

I love Zumba!!! I do it on the Wii...I realize everyone doesn't have the Wii, so this is great that you found this!! Good luck on your goals!!:flowerforyou:

I failed to mention cutting certain foods from your diet...thanks to the other person who mentioned it. Drinking water is an excellent way to start dropping weight. Just go slow, find what works for you, and don't restrict yourself, ,or else you will crash and burn (I know from personal experience). I'm 5'2, and have…

Walking is always a good start because it is something we do all the time. I posted about Walk at Home DVDs,or, if you own a game system, Zumba is marvelous...you can go as slow or as fast as you can handle. Good luck!! Feel free to friend me.

I just put it in under what ever it is...Pasta Alfredo, that's what I would look under...you can do a rough estimate of how much you ate. That's what I do. If I can't find it directly, there is usually an entry for Homemade. Hope that helps.

I want to see what it's about...sure, we can be friends.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post. I saw lots of good tips, and I think I'll be able to do it. Thanks again.:flowerforyou:

Sounds like insecurity to me. The next time he says it, say" aren't YOU my boyfriend?" Maybe he'll be less of a jerk if you say that. Just a thought.

Don't set yourself up for failure. I think we all do that, we have an off day or two, and we throw our hands up. I have done it plenty of times, this is not my first rodeo. Don't deny what you like, but do it in moderation. Monkey bread? Probably not a good idea, but like someone else said, don't let a couple of days throw…

I agree, can I quote you?

If you can just tell your self that ONE piece will be alright, you'll be fine. Another suggestion, bring your own. Lean Cuisine makes the best "diet" pizzas ever. You're satisfying a craving, without totally wrecking your diet. This is experience talking:smile:

Yes!!! I've heard people say, "wow, you have such a pretty face"...and I wait for the other shoe to drop. People can be such jerks, even if they think they are complimenting you. Well, I do have a pretty face, and in a couple of months, I'll have a pretty figure to match!! So will you!! Good luck!!

Like so many others have said, they are just jealous...total "haters" who don't have the willpower to change. I prefer cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes...I use them to fulfill veggie requirements, they are so great...I eat about 6 of them, and call it good:smile: Good luck on your fitness goals...we can all use…

Good job!! Every pound counts!!

I'm new to MFP too...a friend of mine was raving about it on FB..I'm still learning all of the features. I know what it's like to need support. I'll be 40 in June, so I'm on a mission. Feel free to add me, too. Good luck with your goals
