Haven't tried Slimming World. What I like about MFP is that I can eat the food that I like and still lose weight. It doesn't get any better than that!

Forgive yourself, try to learn how to circumvent the issue next time, and forge onward! Visualize yourself getting into your skinny jeans or whatever does it for you!

Me, too. Now that I'm old and have breathing problems, I'm more comfortable in a home environment, plus I get to work out to belly dance tapes and DVD's that I'd feel very self conscious about doing in public. I love a silly workout, and I don't have to stand in line waiting for a machine when I do weights.

That's pretty much what it boils down to for me, too. If I don't eat enough before I go to sleep, I awaken at 2 or 3 AM and have to eat before I can go back to sleep. If I eat a nice dinner , I'm set for the night and more productive the following day. Seems like you've found your comfort zone!

It certainly does count. You're metabolizing at a higher rate than if you were eating bonbons on the couch while watching TV, right? It's activity, so maybe there should be categories of metabolic activity. Some consider exercise as an activity that has to be done specifically for your physical and emotional well-being.…
