Hey...look at me! I've been widowed for going on 11 years now...had one(I thought) was a boyfriend who turned into a jerk...and that was 2 years ago! I've really quit actively looking now...if I run across someone who is interested...well, we'll see! plentyoffish.com

I'm afraid I would have to be as dismissive of that friend as (s)he is negative toward my success!

You and me too...except that I've been single 10 years come October! So I think maybe "A Single Woman" for me...

Should have done your laundry when you saw only one pair in the drawer!! lol

When I was taking my nutrition classes one professor made the statement, "if it's a sinker, it's a stinker!" LOL

The true Miracle Noodles are not tofu...they are pure glucomannan konjac which have no nutrient value except for fiber, which is the beneficial part of these noodles...I LOVE them too. I didn't know about the actual Miracle Noodles until after I'd tried the tofu ones from King Sooper in CA. The best way to get them is…

Girl Scouts are basically the same as Girl Guides (as they were called in the UK when I was a Girl Scout)...I don't know if they do things like cookie sales, etc. or not... I love them ALL!! I usually buy 3-4 boxes (I like a variety, though my homemade cookies are still around HA!) and stow them in the freezer. When I feel…

I tried the mint chocolate chip and I really liked it....at Kings Sooper they aren't as much as B&J.....

There are some packages of noodles called Shirataki, but they in fact are made of soy. The true Miracle Noodles, Shirataki are made from the Glucomannon root and have NO calories, No fat, No gluten, NO guilt (as stated on the packages). They are good if you rinse them well before heating and eating with whatever sauce you…

I had the 13th surgery on my left knee in 2007. 13 in about 30 years. It was a total knee replacement. I don't have as much flexion in that knee as I do in my right, but I can still do my walking, hula hooping, zumba and body pump. Oh I also do water work...swimming mostly and water planks for balance. I have to vary some…

I go between all three of the 24-hr fitness gyms in town and there are three instructors who have just a little variation on what they teach. It's all fun and I'm learning all different steps, and now I don't feel like the uncoordinated clod I felt like the first class I took!

I have that every night as a bedtime snack...sometimes with an orange on the side...

I have a bag of hazelnuts just waiting to be cracked and roasted for making my own...but I still have a jar from the store and I'M GONNA FINISH IT...pictures like that don't bother me because I like each thing individually....and no I'm not pregnant! LOL I just love it mixed with my homemade peanut butter and a braeburn…

Along with all that cheese and tomatoes others are mentioning, if you add some either real or imitation crab meat.....the real stuff is wonderful!

Any day that I do my workout I'm always in a huge deficit because I still try not to eat the exercise calories back, staying around 1300-1400, sometimes 1500 and my workouts always put me over the 2000 mark...but I don't think I've been in starvation mode for the last 285 days!

When my daughter mentioned this site after it helped her and she knew that I could do it.....then I stepped on the scales and started to cry. Now, no longer plus size...I never want to see a plus size anything in my closet once I hit goal!

No you can't really get too much fiber, just watch the calorie content of it. The fiber will help kick up the metabolism....

For those who can't handle wheat, you can substitute rice and quinoa flour, add a bit of a nutty flavor too! Also, instead of Splenda, which sometimes gives a bad aftertaste, use stevia instead. Just saying...

Green tea would actually be better, and usually doesn't hurt the stomach. Black tea has lots of caffeine and tannin in it which is an irritant to the stomach, especially if you drink it on an empty stomach. You might try it, plus it has been touted to help blood sugar too. I'm a diabetic and the only tea I drink is either…

You're doing a great job....I know how frustrating that can be, but, don't let numbers make you lose your momentum, just like the numbers on the scale, as people have told me, you'll get there. You see that your pants size is getting smaller, that's a big plus right there...I'm a diabetic too, and I've lost not quite as…

If you look at the bottle and the actually ingredients in PreNatals, you can get the very same things in regular vitamins without the extra cost of the name "prenatal" and it works the same.....

Ever heard of Aerogarden? You can grow just about anything, including tomatoes and peppers in them.....I have an Aerogarden Deluxe and it is really great! You should look into it especially since you are in that zone. People in AK use them because of the short planting season.

I use 90-calorie Flatout Flat bread for my pizzas.....and I totally LOAD it up with stuff (no meat tho) and one entire piece of "bread pizza" will serve two.....or one very hungry person (426 cal per serving)

I did the exact same thing at Sears, going from a snug 22 to a 16 from Jan till Apr, and now I can put them on w/o unzipping them......i's been at least 15 years since I wore 16's without the W for plus size...I guess I'll have to hit the thrift stores too, until I reach my goal...Congrats!
