Happy Friday to all. I just set my 5 goals for the month of January. I figured December is too far gone to set goals for it. But I can start on that walking goal for January now. I'm setting a low bar of 15 minutes walking either outdoors or on the treadmill depending on the weather. o:)

Good afternoon to all. I've got the decorations all up. I still need to finish cleaning out the craft room, but I'm down to all of the "tricky" items. You know, the ones that you don't know if you should keep or discard and if you keep it you don't know where to put it. Oh, my.... life can be so complicated!

I am back to MFP after a 2 year absence. Lots of life events, husband sick/died, lost 28 lb myself due to stress and back surgery, have changed residences 3 times. If you want to lower sodium intake, be sure to look at the labels of the processed food you buy. I found (for instance) that the sliced turkey for sandwiches - the one marked less sodium actually had the same or more than other brands. Sometimes I buy the more expensive brand because of the sodium on the label.

July was a waiting month. We had planned to go out on the boat for a couple of weeks, but life got in the way of that. We are now on track to take the boat out on Puget Sound for a couple of weeks and I'm praying it works. I have already done the grocerie stocking up thing twice, and getting meds twice. My Hubby& I had the nicest 4th. We walked the 1/2 mile to the bus stop, hopped on the bus and ended up in Seattle Center. We watched the Naturalization Ceremony for 487 new citizens from 86 countries. The largest contingent was from the Philipines, some where around 57.
