Yep. Lifestyle changes are hard. No need to make them harder if you look at things like a meatball sandwich and a Pepsi as a reward. Though why Pepsi is considered a reward, I'll never understand. JK - I am a Coke fan, through and through. And I still have them when they fit in my numbers.

Sounds to me like you have a solid plan.

I prefer to eat my foods, too. And I like most veggies. But if it helps you get your veggies and you like it, no judgment here. Probably the incremental cost is the juicer, since you would be buying the vegetables anyway, right?

Sigh. You become part if the problem when you think only one network is playing the role of corporate shill. They all play to a base with little regard for accuracy. There is no real news from the networks anymore. And if they have you believing one is the fault and not others, you are mistaken.

Maybe read Brave New World to get a better perspective where all this could go. Written 20 years before 1984 and maybe scarier in how it seems to playing out. The willingness to sacrifice reason and curiosity and intellectualism will only accelerate the world depicted in that book.

And you made a good decision to go back to logging since playing it by ear wasn't working. Give yourself credit for having the self-awareness to be honest about what wasn't working and fixing it on your own.
