I war an hour to an hour and a half BEFORE my workouts and within an hour after. I too would get lightheaded during a workout if I didn't eat properly before a workout. I usually eat a banana or some oatmeal and a couple turkey sausage, nothing too heavy.

My birthday was Friday and as of this morning I'm up 3 pounds. TOM just ended too and I know I didn't over eat by that much so I'm confident the scale will be back to normal in a few days!

I had to invest in a good sports bra about $30-40 i think, and I have to wear it over my regular bra to get adequate support.

Please don't be discourages!! You have to start somewhere and it looks like you are off to a great start. Any exercise that you are doing now is an improvement if you were previously sedentary! If you feel comfortable increasing it to 30 minutes 3 times a week, try that and just continue to increase as you can handle it.…

My Fiance and I are currently renovating an old house that's been in his family for generations and I couldn't be happier! It has so much charm that new houses dont have and that's what I love about it...a great big porch, tall ceilings, and large family rooms. It is a LOT of work but totally worth it.

Yep! I need to lost 30 or so pounds before we TTC which I am still undecided on at the moment. Our first will be 2 next month and we finally agreed to try after our wedding in 5 months but now I'm not so sure if I'll be ready by then but definitely within the next year! I now realize how clueless I was before MFP. I have even lost almost 30 pounds on weight watchers but I counted points and didn't really learn anything. MFP opened my eyes and made me realize that what I thought was healthy was really not!

Glad you posted this. My trainer and I were talking about this recently. He told me not to quit after my wedding in March and honestly I had no intentions to. To me this goes beyond a "big" life event. Im doing this for me, I want to be healthy and enjoy life!

I've been working with a trainer for a little over two months and I must say the weightlifting has made a huge difference. My arms and back were my biggest problem areas because I'm getting married in 6 months and I don't want any flab hanging over my dress. I'm loving the way my arms are shaping up!

Not sure of the exact inches I've lost but I'm able to fit into pants I haven't worn in over 2 years and I'd have to say its mainly do to the strength training that I'm doing. Its made a world of a difference. When I tell people how much I've lost, their reaction is "really?? looks like you've lost a LOT more than that!"
