Hi there!

Speaking as a newbie who probably has poor form, I'd love it if someone came up to me (nicely) and offered to show me what I was doing wrong. It can be intimidating to interrupt someone and ask them to help me, because they are there for their own workout and I don't want to impose on their time. But if they see me doing…

Spread on toast, then top with sliced bananas. Dip celery, pretzels, or apple wedges in it. Mix into oatmeal (OMGyum). Make a PB sandwich. Bake it as cookies. Mix with ice chocolate ice cream if you're a chocolate/PB kinda person. That's all I've tried so far but I *love* the stuff.

I really hope that turns out not to be true, for you or any of us. It's tough to deal with, so I'm glad none of us are alone in this!

I am *from* Atlanta but not currently living there (sadly), though I do visit as much as humanly possible. So hi there, y'all!

Pansexual dork in Baltimore. ;) Hi there!

Wow. You are my hero.

Nice. I always approve of Buscemi.

I <3 you.

If my inner motivation voice sounded like David Tennant, I'd do all of my workouts in bed. *IF* you know what I mean, wink wink, nudge nudge. And also giggity.

Because of this post I found myself explaining Geocaching to a co-worker today. He is very interested in trying it out with me, so perhaps at long last I will have a local caching buddy here! (My caching buddies are all back in Atlanta.)

These responses are fascinating! White, 36 y/o, 5'4", 165, size 12 (some 10)

I pre-log as well, and I also do like an earlier poster mentioned. I can't order in a restaurant until I'm certain that I've gotten all the possible calories logged and know how it will all fit in with my day. Healthy outcome, but mentally exhausting.

OK, so first of all, I have the killing someone thing, too, kinda. I've gotten better but there have been times in my life where I would be driving down the street and I would see a pedestrian. A minute or two later, my mind would say, "Did you hit that guy with your car?" And I couldn't remember *not* hitting him. So I…

I'll second this. Geocaching is amazing fun, good exercise, uses your brain. And, it really shows you great hidden treasures in places you are visiting or even your own home town! Many geocachers are geeks so you often get some fun geek-themed caches (I have personally hidden some in Atlanta that were literature-themed or…

Mine sounds like me, only a kick-*kitten* version of me in combat boots. :)

I work long days myself, 6:30am-5:00pm. I just decided that as much as I'd rather stay in bed, I can get up earlier and go to the gym or do a DVD. And so I do. If you are able to pull that off, it might be the best way to fit it in. I find if I hold exercise off until the end of the day, I'm tired from work and more…

1. My next tattoo. 2. Something awesome for cosplay at Dragon*Con 2013. 3. Not sure yet, but probably another tattoo! :)

Every.Effing.Time. Sending work emails is a true joy. And I do the same thing with clocks and stuff.

Also I looked at the calculations and stuff on your blog just for kicks, and the deficit goal max completely lost me. :P If I use Scooby's calculator, I have TDEE of 1801. MFP sets my BMR at 1426 (Scooby's says 1501 but I used MFP since that was your reference point). This is all fine. Gives me goal calories of 1613.5.…

I'm not *entirely* sure you're saying you are in favor of the trainer's advice, or no?

If it is something he needs to do, I hope he is able to move past the fear and give it a shot. You can tell him that there's obviously some others on here with the same issues, so we can commiserate. And it sounds like you have developed an understanding of what he's dealing with, so he's already got a support system!!!

I had to go look at that. Not cool, man. :)

That's a valid concern. I'm pretty sure if I got to the gym and hadn't packed my iPod I would die. Or at least my workout would suck, which is almost as bad. :)
