I use 3 lb weights. Hubby uses 5 lb weights. Completed day 7 this morning. Yea!

Yesterday was my youngest's birthday and Hubby and I went to the State Fair in the late afternoon/evening. Yes, I had birthday cake at home an some fried food and a cream puff at the fair, but I told myself I was going to enjoy it, and I did! Today I am ready to get back on track and eat healthy again. Even with the…

I didn't know this! Thank you!

I agree! MPF is great for tracking exercise and food, weight, too. I just wish on the measurements page, there were more areas of your body to keep track of with measurements.

I wear shoes when doing the Shred. Hubby doesn't. Day 4 completed. Yea!

Finished day 3 this morning, and discovered when I stepped on the scale before exercising that I finally I broke through the 180 mark! I've been going back and forth within 2 lbs above 180 for a while but just couldn't break past it. When I weighed myself this morning, I weighed 179.4!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if you see me doing…

I also forgot to say that the cardio was difficult for me the first time, and now I am doing the level 1 cardio with weights (like in level 3), and I can do it without stopping! Whoo hoo!

I just wanted to post my results after finishing. I lost 9 lbs, 3/4" on my neck, 1" each on bust and hips. Can't find my pre-shred waist measurement though. I thought I was down 1 1/2" on some of those, but it's hard to measure yourself. This morning (4 days after completing the Shred) I was down another lb (for a total of…

I log mine under "circuit training - general".

I'd like to join here if that's okay. I first posted on another 30 DS Aug. 1 main thread, but there were SO MANY people posting there already, I couldn't keep track. I see that this is a smaller group, and I think we can get to know each other better this way. On 7/29 I actually just completed the 30 DS that I started…

Day 2 completed. Whoo hoo!

Day 2 done. Whoo hoo!

I'm in! I just finished 30 Days of the 30 Day Shred on the 29th of July. I lost 9 lbs doing it and some inches, but I didn't measure my final inches lost, but at day 15, I'd lost 1 to 1 1/2 inches each off my bust, waist, and hips. Hubby did the Shred with me starting at day 10. Now our plan is to do another 30 day round…

Whoo hoo! I did it! Completed day 30 of the Shred today! This is a pretty big deal for me because I am NOT one to exercise regularly and stick with it. The plan now is for hubby and me to do another 30 days of the shred (2 days of level 1, 2 days of level 2, 2 days of level 3 per week) and then hopefully move on to Ripped…

Completed day TWENTY-NINE today. Took a few days off because we were gone camping but I managed to bike a few miles Monday and Tuesday at the campground, so I still got some exercise in.
-
Awesome!!! WTG! I finished day 28 today. Only 2 more days to go!
-
Good for you! I still modify a number of things on level 3. I don't know if I'll ever do all of them without modifications, but that's okay. I'm still moving and exercising a lot more than I used to! I finished day 27 (level 3 day 7) today. I feel like there should be some sort of special occasion to mark it, too.

Today I finished day 26 (level 3 day 6) of the 30 Day Shred. Hubby started doing it with me on day 10. We take Sundays off. I've lost almost 10 lbs so far and a few inches. I measured myself around day 15 and was down 1 to 1 1/2 inches each on my hips, waist, and bust at the time. I'm interested to see what my measurements…

Completed day 26 (level 3 day 6). I'm so excited! I'm really going to finish this! Yes, I still do many modifications on level 3, and those sumo squats are killers, but I've stuck with it this far, and I know I can do 4 more days!!!!!

Finished with day 25 (level 3 day 5). Whoo hoo! Almost there!
-
Finished day 24 (level 3 day 4). Feel like I'm on the home stretch.
-
Finished day 23 (level 3 day 3). I take Sundays off. My plans when I complete the 30 days are to do another 30 days of the Shred, this time doing 2 days of level 1, 2 days of level 2, and 2 days of level 3 per week.
-
Finished day 22 (level 3 day 2). I think level 3 was a bit easier today. Hubby is still doing the shred with me (has been since day 10). I'm curious ... how heavy are the weight everyone uses? Mine are 3 lb weights. Hubby's are 5 lbs each.

Finshed day 21 (level 3 day 1) ... and I thought level 2 was hard. Ugh!
-
Day 19 (level 2 day 9) of the Shred is DONE!
-
I am down 8.2 lbs from 6/23 when I started the Shred and have lost about an inch each on my waist and hips and about half an inch under my bust.

I personally have not found any of the ab workouts in level 1 or 2 to be difficult. The hard part for me in the plank oblique twist is that my arms are so tired by that time. And yet, even though I don't find the ab workouts hard, I can tell in level 2 that I am doing them correctly, because I feel it. And I am seeing…

Completed day 18 (level 2 day 8), but my knee hurts this morning. It did before I started, but it didn't yesterday, so I'm hoping this isn't from exercising. I REALLY want to get through the whole 30 days this time around. Ironically, this is NOT the knee that I hurt the last time I tried doing the Shred.
