Missed you all. Though we seem to be slowing with the posts. A bad week for me and the Wii. Pulled some muscles in my right shoulder blade area and only did 30 minutes of Wii Fitness Coach on Tuesday and Thursday. Goal is one hour tomorrow, but may do 30 minutes of yoga as part of that.

On mac-n-cheese there are now several brands of whole wheat, whole grain, high fiber and similar pastas and also quinoa [KEEN-wah] "pasta" which is like a pasta but technically isn't a grain but is high in protein and fiber. I log my 2 -4 daily black coffees (no sweetener). Minimal calories but still has 1 or 2 calories. That and 8+ cups of water a day may be negative calories because of running to the bathroom so often ; - )

Must be something going around. I have had to push to get up for my 6 a.m. workouts this week. Been dragging at the start but feeling better after every time. Here here! I have been hollow out bagels for years. I like the crust best abd it saves wasted calories and carbs. As to how many calories and carbs - I guestimate the % left and record it as that % of a bagel. Keep on scooping!!

For me, it's sushi and chineses food. Sushi:3 rolls and all of a sudden I'm at 600+ calories plus the carbs from the rice. The calories ralso add up fast for the Chinese food even when I keep it to mostly vegaterian and a very limited amount of brown rice. Also very high sodium.

I find if the snack has protein, as with most of your suggestions, it sticks with me longer so I so not get as hungry as quickly afterward.

So up and at 'em. One of my favorite quotes: "Wow, I really regret that workout" - No one, ever. Did my usually weekday 30 minutes this morning before work on the Wii My Fitness Coach. "Maya" picked lower body for today. Tuesday was cardio, yesterday was core, and tomorrow will be flexibilty.

How accurate is the Wii My Fitness Coach calories burned count? I use 5 lb. hand weights when Maya uses no weights and 10 lb. hand weights when she uses her hand weights and stretch on the 15 second rest segments between exercises. Wow you have a lot on your plate. I work long hours as well and get up an hour earlier than I used to to take care of the dog and get ina 30 minute workout during the week at home. How about 30 minutes at the gym 4x per week after work? Especially if it means missing rush hour traffic it will mean less than 30 minutes…

Wow. great work. Keep it up. I did my 30 minutes every day this week as well and will do 2 1 hour workouts this weekend. Keep up the exercise and eating right and toning and weight loss will follow.

Ah. Sorry. Don't have the BL program. Also work 12 hours a day so exercise time is limited. I guess when it comes to the challenges I will be the biggest loser.

I am using the Wii My Fitness Coach program but am interested in learning more about the my body coach2 program KrayKira mentioned. I never heard of it. Is that a Wii program also? More details please.

I use the Wii My Trainer program and it is great. It has a variety of workout programs including Yoga, Cardio, Upper Body, Core, Lower Body and Flexibility. It tailors each days workout programs to your fitness levels and goals and you can adjust the difficulty of the workouts to your fitness level.
