I'm almost at my goal weight, but I still feel fat, I still have the roll of fat that hangs over the waistband of my trousers, even though I've gone from a uk size 16 top 14 bottom to a uk size 12 top 10 bottom. I just assumed I'd reach that magic goal weight and I'd have the perfect body, but I look in the mirror and all…

Wow, that's an amazing difference and only 5lbs down, it just goes to show it doesn't always matter what the scales say, you look like you've lost far more.

I've been on here a while now and almost reached my goal weight, but recently my cheat days have turned into cheat weekends and my exercise has reduced, the lbs are slowly creeping back on. I paid the balance of my holiday this weekend, I know have 12 weeks to get the bikini body I was hoping for, I need to knuckle under…

Hiya, I lost lots of weight when my daugther was little, when it was her nap time I would take her out in her pram and go for a walk, an hours walk a day pushing a pram is a good work out, it really helped tone up my legs.
-
I take a salad to work with me most days, I add eggs, chicken, prawns or salmon for protein, I find sitting down and using a knife and fork to eat my dinner makes me think I'm eating a lot more, I find it more filling than a sandwich. I'll be interested to hear what others say.

This winter was the first time I've ever been able to do the zips up on winter boots, I've put this down to walking almost 3miles a day, my thighs are also toning up to.
-
I can understand how frustrated you feel, I've been there, I've only lost 2lb this year, but I've dropped a dress size. Have you taken your measurements recently, are you toning up instead of loosing weight?
-
I've cut out my weekly take away, now I treat myself to a nice piece of fish or meat and make a nice healthy meal with it, it's much nicer than the takeaways I was having, I really feel like I'm having a treat. My second change is simply to reduce my portion size, I eat what I like just less of it, I don't feel deprived of…

Stick with it don't give up, I've only lost 2lb this year, but I've dropped a dress size, which I'm very happy with, you're the only one who sees the number on the scales, but everyone sees how good you look in your clothes, keep up the good work .

I'm exactly the same, I really want to wear a bikini this summer, but even though I'm almost at my goal, I feel good in my clothes, but I still think it'll be the trusty tankini I'll be wearing on my holidays this year. I'm 5ft8 147lbs UK size 10 bottom size 12 top, all I see when I look in the mirror is my jelly belly and…

I have just started the C25K and really enjoy it, I would say if you are very unfit, like I was it might be difficult, a year ago I couldn't run 100m without puffing and blowing, so I started walking instead, I increased my speed over time, I also do workout from you tube, cycling, Pilates and play badminton, last week I…

MFP had me set up to 1260 cals, but I found this far too low, I've changed it to 1460 cals and I eat back most of my burnt calories. Feel free to add me, Im active on her Mon - Fri, but lapse a bit on the weekends.
-
Well done on completing your first 10k, you should be very proud of yourself. Your pics show a great transformation, keep up the good work, it's certainly working, you look great.

I did day 1 week 1 of C25K last night and really enjoyed it, OH suggested I ran round my local park to start off, he said it would be easier on my knees if I run on the softer ground, he came with me, it was good to have someone encouraging me. I wish you good luck, I hope you enjoy it too.

I work in an office that always has sweet and savoury treats, chocolate, cakes, biscuits, I find it really hard to resist. What works for me most of the time, I take my own lunch and treats into work each day which I pre log, I do give in sometimes, but if I do I log it and then do an extra workout or go for a walk to help…

Wow, you look amazing, you should be proud of yourself and what you've achieved. Thank you for sharing and motivating us.

Thank you Muddyevil for your great ideas, my daughter is 14 so doesn't like to be seen out with her Mum at the park!! I'm hoping I can get her to come out on a few bike rides with me, my OHs children are 6 and 9, they love going to the park, but they're going away with their Mum for the holidays. An Auntie to 10, I bet…

Thank you for setting this group up, it's much easier to find now. I just wanted to let you know I completed the 24hr exercise challenge for March, I did a total of 24 hrs and 30 mins of exercise during the month, consisting of, walking, cycling on an exercise bike, Pilates and social badminton. I'm going to carry on and…
-
Yay, well done everyone, you've done an amazing job. I didn't realise just how hard this would be, when I first took on the challenge I thought, this is going to be easy, but I soon learnt 24hrs is a lot of exercise. Well I'm happy to say I completed 1470 minutes (30 mins over) and burnt a total of 8341 calories. My…

For me it's all about portion control, I eat the same as before just less of it, I think I eat a healthy balanced diets, I could eat salads every day, but I also enjoy crisps and snacks. The only real thing I've added is a protein shake to help increase my protein intake, otherwise if I've got enough calories for it I eat…

Wow, that is an amazing difference in 30 days and only 5 lbs lost, please share with us what you are doing, you look great. I hope you don't mind, I'm sending you a friend request.
-
I agree with what others have said, take some pics of yourself. I couldn't see any difference in myself until I did the side by side pics (see my profile pic), then I could see what other people were seeing, now I'm taking pics every 2 months, it really does help.

Hiya, I'm 43, I'm on here several times a day during the week, but not so much on the weekends, I'm just 3lbs from my goal, I'm really trying hard to tone up now. Feel free to add me.
-
Wow, what a great incentive, wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses, Im sure you're all going to look beautiful, I hope you post some pics.
-
Don't be so hard on yourself, you was obiously hungry and made a sensible choice eating eggs and beans, like others have said it could have been crisps and chocolate and been far worse. Can I ask why have you set things to loose 2lbs a week, if you change it to a lb or even 1\2lb a week you'll have far more calories to…
-
I'd like to join you all, my goal for the summer is to look good and feel comfortable wearing a bikini for my summer holiday in July. I'm only a few lbs away from my goal weigh, my so my main challenge is to tone up. I know what I have to do, but recently moral in my office has dropped to an all time low, everyone is…

I'm 43, I log during the week, but recently I've lapsed over the weekends, you can never have too many supportive friends on here. Feel free to add me.

You guys have done an amazing job, your pics make me want to carry on and reach my goal and tone up even more, thank you. I've tried to attach my pic but it hasn't worked, my profile pic is my before and after, taken 18 months apart.
