Friends tell me I have lost weight from my face and I dont look my age. Ive always had a good skin care routine, but I have noticed the condition of my skin has improved due to the extra water and all the fruit and veggies I've been eating and drinking.

I'm 43, I've been on here a year now, I've plateaued for the past 4 months, but I'm back on track now, my aim it to loose my last 7 lbs and tone up my jelly belly so I feel confident enough to wear a bikini this summer. Feel free to add me.

My nails get brittle and flake when it gets cold, I try and wear gloves when I go out in the winter, I also use a good hand cream several times a day and massage it into my nails.
-
That's an amazing difference in just 7 months, you should be proud of yourself, here's to some great losses and toning in 2014.
-
I've just sent you a friend request, anyone else feel free to add me. Good luck everyone here's to a great 2014.
-
I like to cook with it, it's great for a stir fry or roasting veggies. I also use it as skin care from time to time. I've not notice any difference in my weight loss since using it though.

I'm from the UK, I'll send you a friend request, anyone else feel free to add me. I've been on here a year, I lost 23lbs, been maintaining since august, I'm going to knuckle down now and loose the last of my weight hopefully before my holiday in July, I'll be logging and commenting every day.
-
Congratulations you've done an amazing job, you should be proud of yourself, like others have said, you look so much younger now, keep up the good work in 2014, you'll reach your goal in no time.
-
Thank you for the invite, I'm looking forward to it, I really want to complete it this time, I'll start sometime tomorrow, I need to get into a little routine.
-
I've started the 30 shred twice, but never completed it, I'd like to join the challenge it might just make me complete it if I know everyone else is doing it. Please add me.
-
Are we starting this challenge today or on Jan 1st?? I've just completed 30 squats and 30 tummy crunches.
-
I've not taken part in a group challenge before, I'd like to give it a go, here are my 3 things: 1, to drink as least 8 glasses of water or herbal teas a day. 2, to do some form of exercise everyday (some days housework will have to count). 3, to complete my food diary every day.
-
I started a squat challenge before, but didn't complete it, it hurt my knees, yours looks a bit easier so I'm going to give it a try, I'll also do the same amount of tummy crunches. Good luck, we can do it.

For 2014 I aim to get over my 4-5 month plateaux and loose my last 6lb, I also want to tone up my jelly belly and chunky thighs so I look and feel good for my family holiday in July. If anyone out there knows the answer to getting over a plateaux please add me and share your experience.

Hiya, I'm Wendy, I'm 43, I've lost 23lbs during 2013, I've plateaued for almost 5 months, just 6lbs away from my goal weight. Jan 2nd I plan to knuckle down and start logging again, I hope to reach my goal weight and tone up my jelly belly and chunky thighs ready for my summer holiday in July. I will send you a friend…

Hiya, I've sent you a friend request. I've been on here almost a year now, I lost most of my weight at the beginning, but have been maintaining for months now. I'm getting back on track Jan 2nd, I want to get down to my target weight and tone up my jelly bits ready for my family summer holiday. We can do this, we will do…

Wow!! You look fantastic. Thank you for sharing your story and photos, it really helps to keep me motivated. Merry Christmas to you all. ????????????⛄️

I won't be logging, I'll eat what I want, I just won't go mad, for me it's portion control all the way. I just keep thinking the more I eat, the harder I've got to work at it in the new year, I also want to be able to get into a fab dress for New Year's Eve and look good in it. Good luck and have a great Christmas.

I've learnt that I was eating the right things, just too much of it, for me it's all portion control, I don't feel I'm going without then. I allow myself treats, but I try and make them healthier, this week it's some almonds, last week was sweet n salted popcorn, I try and buy treats for my daugther that I don't like so…
-
I've tried to give up bread as much as I can, but mainly it's just been portion control and more exercise, I don't feel like I've deprived myself of anything.
-
Since being on this journey I've learnt it's all about portion size, I ate the right foods but just far too much. If I have a bad day I make sure I pick myself up the next day and get back on track as quickly as possible. Its good to have a treat day every now and again, just try now make them too regular.
-
I will buy myself one treat a week, at the moment it's a bag of sweet n salty popcorn, I can either make it last a few evenings or eat it in one go, but when it's gone it's gone, until next weeks treat. Something else I try is distraction, if I paint my nails I can't pick at food for fear of smudging my nails, or I'll also…

I've only recently taken out a gym membership, I lost the majority of my weight by reducing my portion sizes and walking. Good luck
-
It all sounds good to me. You will only know if it's achievable and get the results you want by giving it a try. If it doesn't work don't give up, it might take a while to find what suits you, just remember you didn't gain the weight overnight and you won't loose it overnight either. Good luck.
-
I say complete the 5k the best you can, I wouldn't be ashamed to walk, run and jog, you should be proud of yourself for completing it. Good luck and most importantly enjoy it.
-
Wow!!! You've done an amazing job.
-
Wow!!! That's an amazing difference, whatever you're doing keep it up.

I can drink plenty of water in the summer when it's hot, I like to drink either sparkling flavoured water, or I put fresh fruit into my water. Now it's getting colder I'm really getting into drinking herbal fruit teas, I still allow myself a couple of regular mugs of tea a day just to get me going.
-
Some amazing pics ladies, thank you for sharing. It shows we can do it if we really want too, I'll be working out at the gym tomorrow.
-
I agree with the other comments, I'd also like to add, how much water do you drink?? aim to drink 8-10 glasses a day, it really does help. Good luck.
