I used to run a LOT... but stopped. I'm trying to figure out how to get back on the wagon now, and want to ease back into it with a treadmill walk/run to get a fair view of just how much cardio I've lost. I want to do a walking warm up.... and start a slow run on the treadmill to see how many minutes I can run for before I…

upbeat music.....! that's my usual go-to distraction for when I have to clean the house. makes sense that it would help improve/ease-up my mood too) Once earlier this summer, I went to a guided meditation class... & nearly wound up crying (but ultimately fell asleep instead). and the "Ten things" strategy is something I'm…

Thankful to be down -2.0 this week! So since I joined the challenge: -2.0/30 (and hopefully counting) TGIF.

@Truly303 Love the list! & I'm completely with you on #3! here's my list: 1) Get to one-derland (approx 15 lbs to go) 2) Fit into my previous pant size (maybe a size & a half to go there) 3) Fall in love with running again (that'll take another month or two) :wink:

@princessmica Love your glasses!!!!

I'm in to lose 20! (DEFINITELY time to get back on track...)

Lately, I've been having some success thinking about what I do enjoy (that's healthy) and running with it! So I'll spot healthy choices within my log that I wound up enjoying WAY more than I originally thought I would and incorporating those choices more & more into daily life. Examples include things like: walking to…

If I have a busy week (with work or fun stuff), sometimes 6am is the only time left where I can fit a workout in! And oddly enough, remembering the effort it took to get that workout in keeps me from overdoing it or over-indulging later on (which frankly-- I did NOT think would be the case).

I'll be curious to hear what you think of your workout! I haven't joined... but I'm tempted. (I just need to use up my ClassPass card first!)
-
I knew I couldn't fit a workout in after work... so I got it done in the wee hours of the morning!

Sodium/salt is my FAVOURITE. Candy/sweets/dessert I could give up... but do NOT hand me a bag of chips! I feel like drinking that much water over the course of a day would very literally have me running back & forth to the bathroom instead of having a productive work day. No clue if this will help... but here are a couple…

Original starting weight - good question! June start: 224.2 June goal: 219.2 Ultimate goal: 175 (then I'll reevaluate) June 1: 224.2 June 8: 222.4 June 16: 221.4 June 23: 220.8 June 30: 219.4 -4.8/5.0 Close.... but I'll take it. I'll admit: it's nice to see the numbers go down.

It's been a brutal workweek & I've been lazy. So I picked a favourite vegetable (this week = red pepper) & a favourite fruit (9 times out of 10-- an apple), supplemented with part of a cucumber. Chopped that stuff up into relatively bite-sized pieces and threw them on a plate to eat while I work. + a protein source (today…
