  • I have pictures but it’s been over 4 years so I can’t tell you where they are now. I went from 160 to 120 purely at home with beachbody workouts like Insanity and P90x. Took me about 9 months but then I got pregnant. I am on the same journey now and really love my punching bag, jump rope and playing with calisthenics. If…
  • Do my first unassisted pull-up! It may seem silly, but never in my life have I had the strength to do an unassisted pull-up.
  • Awesome job picking yourself up and working towards a healthier lifestyle! I just turned 28, gained weight for the same reasons of stress from school/family/overtime at work all at the same time. I have been suffering from depression for a lot of my life but just the fact that you can pick yourself up and do something…
  • Tonight is Day 3 for me! I don't usually sweat but DAMN.
  • Absolutely inspiring! This is just what I needed to see this morning while feeling like I will never get to my goal.
  • LOVE this thread! I am so happy to be living in an age where tattoos are starting to be accepted and aren't just for certain people anymore. I have a few small tattoos that I got when I was pretty young. I don't "regret" them because they symbolize things I was going through in life however I do want to get some covered…
  • This is such a fantastic post! I agree with pretty much everything and the points are things I try to tell people when they want advice on losing weight. But I feel like people already on MFP are more prone to listen since they have already taken the first step of logging on. Your food talk sounds like it came directly…
  • This is about a year or so old since I've had a baby but this is after losing 40 pounds B)
  • I don't think it's really worth $15. It's only like 17 minutes or so? Better off just youtubing a cardio program or using the original workout they recommend :)
  • If you order it through Team Beachbody or through a coach you can get it for free :) I didn't get the deluxe package though. After seeing some of the options through the workout sheet, I really wish I had!!
  • Had to pick a shorter workout this morning (can I just say I am NOT a morning person) so I chose to do Hammer Plyo. I switched it out with Masters Cardio first week. Holy crap Plyo is no joke!!
  • My baby just turned 1 in Aug 2015 so I may be a year behind you but still in the same boat of trying to take back my body! I was 7 pounds away from my goal weight a few months after he was born but somehow managed to gain a lot of weight in the past year. Height: 5'1 Pre-Preg: 120 Post-Preg: 127 CW: 136 GW: 120
  • Yup, definitely give your muscles some time to heal! Rest days are just as important for building up muscle during a program :)
  • My knees are bad with all of the jumps too, so I find myself modifying a lot as well. Doesn't mean we aren't still kicking butt!
  • Hope the program is going great for everyone! The hubby and I chose Tuesdays as our rest days since we both have classes on Tuesdays starting next week. Will be interesting fitting this program in with a full-time job and school 3 days a week.... and a 1 year old. Oh boy, good thing I LOVEEEE this program so far :p
  • This is awesome, great job! I adore how you look like a completely different person in the way you hold and present yourself in those later photos. Love it!
  • I adore this! Currently on Chapter 10 :) I am thinking of trying out the Avatar program after this is finished!
  • This had me rollin'! Besides the pretty girl aspect (because it's just any girl skinnier than me. Psh, look at me run sista! Watch and learn...) this all sounds 100% like what is going on EVERY time I use this app.
  • Love it! Awesome job man! Aw, c'mon Puddin.... don'tcha wanna rev up ya Harley? VVRROOOMM VROOM! ;)
  • I only gained 2 pounds? No big deal, that will come off by the end of the week. Oh, another 2 pounds? I'll start my workout tomorrow. Another 5 pounds? Well, that is only 5 up from the last time I weighed in so once I lose that it will be no time at all until I am in shape again!..... Almost 20 pounds later you see how…
  • You are awesome! I too am 8 months postpartum but I JUST started back on track. I managed to gain weight after having the baby, go figure. I applaud you because it definitely is not easy. Your craziness created sexiness so you are all good B)
  • I am a certified shorty- 5'1 :)
  • Compared to some of the other programs out there, Insanity can definitely be pretty jard on the knees. By the end of it I knew I needed to lay off beating them up for awhile but some people don't have any problems. Just make sure to listen to your body and you can always sub with some lower impact moves they have going on…
  • 5'1 here! I started out at 160 and ended at 120 before getting pregnant(so now I am not quite at 120 anymore but getting there!). This took me about a year but it was a lot more than just learning about losing weight! 120 doesn't look bad on me but I definitely think I am going to start looking at weight training because…
  • It was the first fitness program I ever did and I am thinking of doing it again. Shaun T is incredibly encouraging without being annoying and the endurance you will gain during this program is awesome! I put some weight back on afterwards since I got pregnant but here are my original before and afters :)…
  • Pre-Pregnancy: 120 lbs / 5'1 40 Weeks: 143.8 Well total gain was a little under 25 pounds so overall I am pretty happy! My beautiful little boy, Oliver, was born Saturday evening at 7lb 2oz so at least he was a healthy size! He ended up in the NICU until Sunday night because of breathing complications due to low fluid…
  • Not showing any signs of heading towards labor. Baby flipped awhile back but other than that, no contractions, plug/show, baby hasn't dropped and I am only 1cm dilated. I guess it's not induction that creeps me out but the increased risk of a c-section that comes with it especially since my cervix is not wanting to do…
  • I am still in my pre-pregnancy jeans and work pants however the past coupe of weeks I needed to start using my Bella Band, though it is a knockoff version. Sitting here at 40 w and 3 days with it on over my work pants yet : ) I went out to H&M and bought a cute flowy maternity dress and Gap had a sale on cute tank tops so…
