  • I belong to 24 hour fitness and I do have a personal trainer. I do 3 sessions a week for 50 mins and I have to say they are directly linked to my success thus far!! My trainer is way more than someone who kicks my butt in the gym; he also makes me accountable and pushes me more than I could ever push myself. He's there to…
  • Make your food diary public to help us give better advise
  • I love it! It looks really cute! I'm not really a dress or skirt person either but I found if I wear cute tights or something underneath it looks good and makes me feel more comfortable.
  • You are DEFINITELY not eating enough!! You're body is probably in starvation mode and that's why you're so tired all the time. If you're putting in hard workouts you need to eat more. There are tons of discussions about this that you may want to check out.
  • That's got to be the funniest thing I've heard all day!!!! I've always thought about getting my couch potato beagle on the treadmill. I feel guilty every time I go to the gym instead of taking him for a walk.
  • I was the same way...i now drink anywhere between 100-124 oz of water a day and I'm like my own rain forest at the gym :)
  • You may want to try pushing your self a little harder to see if it helps but you could also not be hydrated enough. Try upping your water consumption.
  • annabelle23...That's a really good idea, I think I'll have to steal that one :)
  • My trainer has me to 4 sets of Planks 15 seconds on 15 seconds off, bicycles 4 sets 15 reps, then crunches and reverse crunches 4 sets 20 reps each...i do this at the end of my workout M, W and F. I've got a looooong ways to go but I'm already seeing HUGE improvements in my strength and waist size :)
  • EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Newman's Light Sesame Ginger..mmmmm
  • Ice cream, Mexican food and pizza! I don't crave Ice cream any more, yeah! bu the Mexican food and pizza cravings are still there. I've just learned to ignore them because my health is WAY more important that any 20 min meal!!!
  • It seems like you eat A LOT of process foods....where are your fruits and veggies? Also just by looking at the foods your sodium levels have to be through the roof! I would try to get a protein, fruit/veggie and carb in at every meal and aim for 5-6 small meals a day. This keeps your metabolism and blood sugar levels even…
  • I eat 5 small meals a day all between 200-300 calories and I've noticed by doing that I'm never starving...which helps A LOT with making healthy decisions. I've gotten past the physical cravings now that I'm in the 4th month of my journey but I've found my mental cravings have ramped up, like wanting to snack even though…
  • I have the same problem with the whey but I eventually got used to it and I don't have those side effects anymore....it will get better :)
  • My husband and I have poured all our extra money into a personal trainer for 3 hours a week each and it has made a world of difference!! It does completely depend on the person to though. We both needed someone to give us that extra push and knowledge. If you already have the motivation but just need the knowledge you may…
  • My trainer incorporated Planks into my ab routine this week....I don't think my abs have ever hurt as much before :)
  • Its all about the shoulders and arms for me..broad well defined shoulders with thick arms...mmm...my eyes never make it down to the Abs :)
  • I am a scale addict and because of these fluctuations I have made myself stick to weighing in just once a week. I have also been focusing on all of the NSV like losing 3.5% body fat last month instead of focusing on the scale....because in reality..what I really care about is that I'm in a healthy body fat range for my…
  • My husband and I are getting our wedding clothes tailored to our new bodies and getting new wedding photos taken...i might just have to add a second honeymoon to that too :)
  • What i always get is a small chicken Pho with as many bean sprouts and basil as i can cram in. With noodles and everything it ranges from 450-500 cals but i just charge myself an even 500.....YUMMY!!!
  • I'm with you 100%! I'm the only one who can change me.
  • I switched my weigh in's from Friday's to Monday's and that has helped tremendously! Every time I want to eat bad on the weekends I think of weighing in on Monday.
  • I get EXACTLY the same pain and no doctor has been able to tell me what it is. The only thing that has given me a little relief is warming up for 5 mins before pushing myself, getting orthodics from my podiatrist and working with a trainer to strengthen the ankle and foot muscles....balancing type activities. I still get…
  • I spoke with my trainer about eating the exercise calories like MFP says to do and he doesn't agree. I also feel that it doesn't make sense to eat back the calories you just burned so I don't. You may also be building muscle right now. Try taking your measurements and using that as a guide instead of your scale for a…
  • Good idea RichB77...Maybe I'll workout for 40 days solid :)
  • I have been thinking that same way. I usually don't observe Lent either but this year since I'm making so many healthy changes I thought I'd give it a go. I haven't decided yet what I'm giving up either.
