  • If I do out of the ordinary cleaning, I will count some of the time but not all of it. For example if I clean for 2 hours, I would count 30 minutes. I would then eat those calories. Some people don't count any some people will count all. You just need to monitor yourself and then adjust as you see fit. Hope this helps :)

  • Wow - you look awesome! Great job! I love the 30 day shred.
  • I have too - actually an entire size!! I would never have thought I would lose weight in my feet... Funny huh?
  • Well I sure do appreciate the messages and friend requests! After posting this I kind of felt a bit silly but at the same time I really want to lose this weight for good. I will do whatever it takes even if it means begging for support :)
  • Good job!! You should be thrilled!
  • I have been addicted myself and was weighing myself constantly. I had to break myself of it and chose this month to do it. I have not weighed myself since the last day in April. I try to talk myself into it every morning but so far so good! I can't wait for June 1st! If you could put your scale somewhere to take a bit of a…
  • So proud of you!! You look so much younger! A totally different person. Good job!
  • Have you been drinking your water? That is so important - more so than I ever knew! Also, what is your sodium intake? Are you going over? That would hinder losses - you will retain water big time if your sodium is high. Have you thought about making your food diary open to the public? Maybe if you did someone would be able…
  • Week 1 ended with 3127 calories burned, under calories on each day - success! Hope everyone else had a great week - looking forward to week 2...
  • Ok I am so pumped - I am now at over 2700 calories burned for the week. That is amazing for me. I really jumped into this May challenge with both feet and am sincerely hoping I will see some action on my scale when I finally weigh myself June 1... Staying off the scale has been REAL difficult for me but I'm determined not…
  • I shop thrift stores all. the. time. It is an addiction to me. I get such a rush when I'm able to find something super cute and trendy for $6.99 knowing that I could have spent $30 + for that same item at Avenue, Lane Bryant - insert your favorite plus size store here... I also shop a nice consignment shop that caters…
  • This sounds awesome! I'm having company Sunday - I'm going to make it!! I wonder if a layer of black beans would be good too? Thanks!
  • I just made this - I had some of the innards left over and put it in between some graham cracker halves and froze them. I can't wait to try these!!!! Eight hours seems very looooong right now....
  • I have thyroid issues myself - it does make it more difficult to lose but it's not impossible. Are you going to be getting on medication for it? Without medicine I am DEAD - so tired, cranky, depressed, did I mention tired? and cranky? and depressed??? I really can not function without being on my medicine - my family…
  • Just bought some of this peanut butter - it is amazing on its own - I can NOT wait to try this!!
  • This was a very good day for me!! Ended up burning 1152 calories - walked, biked, did water aerobics AND swam!! I am beat. My food choices were ok, could have been better. We didn't eat before we went to the community center and were SO HUNGRY when we left - Jack in the Box was right on the corner. I won't come anywhere…
  • Keep up that attitude! It will happen & it probably won't even take as long as you think it will!
  • Good for you! Slow and steady has to mean something - that's my game right now!
  • Awww that's sweet! You had me at "I love my niece" cuz I adore mine as well :) It's always extra nice when you realize people have paid attention to what you've been doing AND show a measure of excitement about it! I love how surprised ones are to hear that the only thing you need to do to lose weight it watch your calorie…
  • I'll have to give this one a try too - sounds yummy!
  • Thanks so much for letting me in this challenge! It's my first ever. I am hoping to gain my accountability back. I was doing so well until about February. I'm hoping by following through on each part of the challenge, week by week I will be back on track! Exciting to think that I will more than likely be losing some of…
  • I was hoping this post would get taken care of - so glad that some of those comments were removed! That was crazy there for a bit. So nice to have moderators :)
  • I'm with you on this one. I try to make better choices - low cal ones so that I can have cals to eat more... & I try to get in more exercise, again so I have cals so I can eat more... Crazy. I am in that stage RIGHT NOW. Hate it.
  • 60lbs would make me happy, 75lbs would make me even happier!
  • I appreciate you taking the time to share this with all of us! I just ran outside for the FIRST TIME yesterday. I say ran - funny, it was really the slowest jog I'm sure most people have witnessed!! For me, that was a huge accomplishment. I hope it gets easier to be the spectacle I feel I am when I'm out there in public...…
  • Bumping - sounds interesting!
  • I'm thinking I lean towards the intrinsic motivation more so than the other. I think for me, it's a more long lasting motivator. The other stuff comes and goes too quickly & often times are never motivating enough to even reach my goal! This new way of looking at things (new to me) has been the longest motivator I have…
  • I love rice crackers - they are thin and have a great crunch. I also was getting these amazing brown rice chips from Costco that were 35 chips for 110 calories. They were SO GOOD, but they aren't carrying them anymore and have not found them anywhere!!
  • I make tortilla pizzas all the time. I use the whole wheat, low carb ones that are 80 cals each. Add whatever pizza sauce you have & toppings - bake for 12-15 mins at 350. They are amazing - I do not feel like I'm missing out on pizza at all!
  • On my to make list - thanks!
