I would try to net 1200 calories. You would have had to eat a lot to gain 1lb overnight...it is probably water gain--not real fat. Good luck

I like to grab one in the morning--because I'm always running late. The Snickers Marathon one is good & if I'm looking for more fiber I sometimes grab a South Beach one. It's better than a doughnut or candy bar. :flowerforyou:

I guess I would say that you need to have a balanced diet with nutrient-rich food. I do believe that you can mess up your metabolism by not consuming enough calories. I can't imagine that it is healthy to take pregnancy hormones and only consume 500 cals/day. It would be incredibly hard to maintain the calorie level and the weight loss when you consume a more "normal" level of calories. Hopefully, a doctor is supervising your friend. Walking is a great way to burn calories. If you feel the need to do different higher impact activities then you can alternate them. Her program works!! It's easier on your knees & hips & you still get a nice calorie burn from walking. :flowerforyou:

I have 2 kids, LOTS of pets, a husband and a full time job. It's very difficult to juggle all of it. I usually put the family first--I'm lucky that my children are older and that my husband often does some of the cooking. As a mom, I usually come last and most of the time it stinks.
