I have recently changed my cals from 1860 to 1730. I have not lost weight lately. Seemed to be stalled. I had lost 50 pounds walking, doing Zumba and eating better. Not eating out, changing from ground meat to turkey ground meat. Not much of a cooker but trying a few recipes I have seen on the site. November I joined a gym…

Hello!! and Good Luck in meeting your goals.

So my first challenge of the New year and for January is to walk 100 miles. Usually I walk on the weekends, get on the treadmill and elliptical during the week. Working on pushing myself just a bit more than usual.

Great job!! You look amazing!

I started where you used to be and this is such an inspiration to me. You have a beautiful family!! You look amazing and definitely look smaller than a size 6.

Zumba, walking and changing my eating habits. Eating more fruits and veggies, changing to turkey ground meat, fish and chicken. Drinking lots and lots of water.

1. Cholesterol in the normal range 2. Doctor took me off of my blood pressure meds, BP in the normal range 3. Learning to eat more healthy and exercising 3 to 5 days a week. 4. Most of my exercise was Zumba dvds and walking/running outside now I have joined a gym and will have my first consultation with a PT.

I'm kinda in the same boat. I lost a little momentum and was not working out like i was doing and not as focused on my eating like I was doing. I was in my funk for 3 months. Now I am back and ready to get down to my goal. I have about 75 pounds to go to where I want to be.

Jeans and a new pair of scrubs for work!!. I'm hoping to get in them by March 1st. Next goal for me. Not ultimate goal weight yet.

Definitely have a B belly but am working to get rid of it. Love looking at after pics, very motivating that I can do this.

Happy Birthday!! I turned 40 on August 24th and was thinking the same thing. I have been told that I dress like an old lady.

Welcome. I have left torn LCL so my left leg used to go out all the time, so I would carry my knee brace everywhere. I started out walking and not overdueing it at all. I then got Zumba dvd's and at first could only do 10 minutes, now I do the entire 45 min video. I definitely do low impact and now Hip Hop ABS, still low…

30-45 min per day for 5-6 days. Jogging, Zumba, cycling and hip hop abs. It is helping with my weight loss and endurance.

Good Morning! My name is Shundrella. I am 39 years old, will be 40 next month. I am 5'8. I started this journey at 282 pounds and now I am at 232. My MFP goal is to get to 185 and my ultimate goal is 150-160. I was always and thin child all the way up to adulthood before I had my first son. Then came the weight gain, then…

You look awesome! Thanks for sharing. This is definitely motivation!

For me that is great motivation. I have a pair of scrubs and some jeans that are the next size down. Before I couldn't get them over my thighs, now i can pull them all the way up. Waiting until they comfortably fit and then I will go to the the next size.

I have alot of weight to lose and almost halfway there. I have the Zumba dvd's and I have started jogging. I have lost 37 pounds so far. Add me if you like. It's challenging but you can do it.
-
That is amazing! That is what I want to eventually do is be off the BP meds.
-
My YAY moment. When I started doing Zumba in February all I could do was 10 minutes. I have a lower back pain and a bad knee. I have been jogging .5 mile and then doing my 45 minute Zumba dvd. Last night I jogged 1 mile and then did my 45 minute Zumba dvd. Felt so great!!!

I drink 14-16 cups of water a day. Weekends are hard for me but I'm working on it. Love the lemon, cucumber and mint water.
