Just thought I would share this. Someone messaged me privately with the link and it was kind of exactly what I was looking for. Though I am going take the advice talked about here and look at some more healthy percentages/numbers this gives me a nice starting point for ideas. Like totally loving the idea of cinnamon…

Thank you, I will check them out. Everyone I know either does nothing or does Keto so those recipes end up clogging up my feeds on Pinterest or FB. I will check some of these out. I remember reading about a few really successful people who eat almost the same thing every day. While I would hate the lack of variety (and it…

Actually this is very helpful. Thank you. I am a numbers girl so yes, this makes it better to put into perspective.

Since it came up ... :) Actually I haven't had too much of a problem. I did initially but that is because I usually took a fiber supplement daily and now I no longer do. But once I upped my water and added in apples (sometimes melba toast or a wasa cracker) I haven't had any problems. It's not a daily thing anymore but…

I see what you mean now. That would be doable. Sorry for this thread, it kind of went all over the place. I started out just wanting a keyword to use to google recipes, LOL and ended up with lots of great thoughts about where to go from here instead. I appreciate the time everyone took to help.

Okay I see what everyone is saying and now I am just more confused. I understand the .4g/fat per lb which is 30ish grams for me But then if you take a typical day of my meals, that is only 11g fat but that is also because it is VLCD If I up the calories which I am going to do in about 10 days and like what was said, triple…

I mean I do see what you are saying about the minimum amount of fat but I also agree with with John is saying. But please tell me what would be wrong with this as my meal plan: Breakfast: 1 cup Herbal Tea 1 Large Hardboiled Egg 1/2 (75g) Fuji Apple Lunch: 1 small Greek nonfat yogurt 1 scoop Whey Protein Vanilla Dinner: 150…

Okay I see what you are saying. That makes sense. I was playing with the numbers and your .4g fat/lb of body weight and it seems like it would roughly be 32 grams minimum for me. When I plug that into calorie deficit and what the 3 macros look like it does seem like in general they end up very similar. With around 30ish %…

I was planning to keep with that....Why is it not healthy to both limit carbs and fat? I mean I am not cutting them out completely. I tried googling low fat/ low carb but all I get is comparisons between the two, not what both together specifically looks like. Before I lost any weight I had high cholesterol and I worry…

Yes this exactly. I really do enjoy (like other than the low calorie part it doesn't even feel like a diet to me). I mostly eat lean chicken, grilled chicken, super low fat hamburger meat, ground turkey ect...a steam vegetable, apples, strawberries, tons of leafy greens ect...I do eat non fat greek yogurt with some vanilla…

These were both really interesting reads. Thank you. I am holding on and going to play this out for 10 weeks to see where I am at. Maybe I will get a big week of just BAM everything flushing out and a big weight loss...or maybe I won't. Inches ARE important and I am happy to see things the tape measure moving even if the…

You are beautiful (in all the pics not just the weight loss ones) and have been an inspiration for me! I am soooooo very happy for your success!!

I don't know why but I was crying while reading this post and the comments. Granted I have been on an emotional rollercoaster this last week - but it really moved me - everyone being so supportive of each other. Being good and being kind has such a ripple effect; ripples that spread out farther than we can ever realize. We…

I grind my own butters at my local Whole Foods....all that is in the container is ground nuts! I highly recommend the almond butter and pecan butter (pricey but a great treat)! I find that I usually only work the butter into my diet if it's near the end of the day, I am still under calories and am craving a little…

If you haven't been drinking a lot of water lately and then you suddenly intake a good amount, yes your body may hold on to it. If you continue drinking 80-100oz a day, your body will realize "Hey...we aren't in a drought" and will release it out again, essentially flushing your system. A steady high intake of water will…

I was absolutely addicted to the low cal or reg cal versions of the International Delight creamers but last week decided to wean myself off of them. Switched to organic sugar (1 tbs) and organic half and half. I then throw a pinch of hazelnut powder, cinnamon, cloves, a drop of vanilla extract ect... if I want the flavor.…

Water is hard for me too but my two tricks are a) I can't stand ice cold water (weird I know) so I get my water bottle and leave the water out for awhile until it becomes lukecool. I can drink a lot more that way. b) I keep key limes in the fridge, sliced into quarters. I squeeze one into every bottle of water and while my…

If you have 20% body fat and another woman has 54% body fat and you both follow the exact same diet - yes the one with the higher body fat % will lose faster than you. The closer you are to your ideal weight/body fat, the less your body wants let it go. I believe that they say, when you have that little to lose that you…

I slice it into about 1/4 inch slices (don't want to slice it much thicker it takes forever to dry)...then I put it in my dehydrator. It has so much water in it, it took about 20 hours to be done. It is sweet and tart and unbelievably yummy and crunchy!

Just today I posted about this on facebook - I took my local mexican food market sale ad, king sooper's, albertson's and safeways sale ad to Walmart and they price matched every single thing from those stores. So not only did I save by not driving around to different stores I got a TON of fruit and veggies. 4.5 lbs Roma…

I just bought some wasabi roasted edamame...omg, yum!

For me, I haven't told myself I couldn't have something. I eat healthy most of the time since I have started but I swear, the other day I was craving some Jalepeno Tortilla chips! I had calories left. I measured out a one serving portion on my food scale, logged it into MFP and absolutely enjoyed every bite. If you are…

At my whole foods you can grind your own butters. it truly is just whatever nut you choose in whatever amount you want. I absolutely LOVE the pecan butter. Super expensive but a nice yummy treat.

Wow! Amazing! And I just LOVE the heels in your after pics!!!

Awesome! Congratulations!

If I am having a "bad" day I spend more time on here devouring the message boards. I love reading success stories to keep myself motivated, reading about different food or recipes so I can come up with new ideas ect... Days that I am really tracking...eh, not on here very much....

haha Love that!

You are just sooo pretty before and after! What an inspiration!
