Oh I must try!!!!!

I am a 31 year old mother of a toddler and I came here to lose the baby weight 2 years ago after I had my daughter. I ended up losing a lot more (over 60lbs total) and couldn't be happier but it is a daily commitment. Good luck and feel free to add me :)

Yeah!! Thanks. Yes pics can so helpful especially when you get down to the last bit of it :)

Thanks guys! Yeah I take pictures no matter what. I have learned the hard way that you might not want to take photos (or see them) at the time but you definitely want them when you are finishing a program. Sometimes I take them and store them on my computer and don't even look at them, if I feel like they are going to be…

Thanks for the comments! It is hard to see sometimes for yourself so it is nice to hear that other people can see a change.

Oh thanks, Mamareese should be coming back at some point! My breaking point was how unhappy I looked and felt after having my daughter. I was a size 14 and I had enough. So I started about 6 weeks after I had my daughter and never looked back.

Yes I weigh everything in grams now. I used to measure using cups and tablespoons but found the scale to be much more accurate. I agree that just weighing your food to see correct portions will be a real eye opener before you even get to dieting!

Saw the you deactivated!! Was it a mistake or are you gone??

Ok that is awesome that all the bathing suits didn't fit!!! You rock girl! Your ab pic looked awesome but I know what you mean about wanting to feel comfortable with your mommy issues. I still have some skin that I can tuck away for pictures and stuff but it can all hang out when I sit down in a 2 piece so I am very…

Oh yeah I was totally off the wagon over the weekend. I hung in for one day then it all fell apart that dinner!! haha. So I haven't been on the scale since then. I will expect an increase but that is cool. The only thing I don't know is whether I should continue with the plan of eating higher calories (like 1600-1800) or…

I will be interested to hear the response because I am the same way. My burns are very low in general for anything non cardio related (mostly weights) but it does seems to even out throughout the day. So maybe it is taking into account the afterburn?

Good for you for staying off the scale, water snob , you are much stronger than I! Well I weighed in and was overall happy. I was a little annoyed that I wasn't able to go potty yesterday (sorry TMI) so my number might be slightly higher than it normally would but I can't complain with being at 127.4lbs. I…

Sorry crazy day. Don't have much time to chat but I did want to let you know the cough is SLOWLY getting better. Cardio was rougher than normal this morning and would start some light coughing but nothing major. I am going to be hitting it tomorrow again though with the lean intervals. Hoping for the best on final weigh in…

Oh I know you will get it done no matter what! I am still fighting this cough but I was finally allowed to work out this morning without my husband all over me about not taking enough time off. So that was nice. Yeah I am glad I will be finishing out. I am curious to see the results. I will keep CLX but I don't know if I…

We are opposites this week. I wish I could work hard core like you but the bronchitis is just giving me fits! My diet has been very good (it has to be since I can't work out) but I am dying to get back to it and really kill it this week! I have been on antibiotics and steroids since Friday and while I see definite…

Hey I am here. Just barely! I was home sick yesterday since the coughing took a major turn the night before last and I was running on no sleep and still had to do three hours last night at the Ronald McDonald House. Sooo.... I tried catching up on a bit of rest (and I squeezed in a short weight workout but shhhhh....don't…

Yes the plain Greek yogurt is amazing for its stats and satisfaction. I find it to be quite filling for sure! Lately I have been mixing mine with the jello and then adding berries and it almost seems like I am doing something bad, haha. Well I do feel less flabby today which is good (also might be from the lack of soda)…

Everything went really well! We got a good shot and surprisingly I was able to use a bunch of coupons and we got out of there with 11 prints for less than $20. I will never be able to repeat that for sure since it was all "new customer" coupons for this studio. We had a great day. I was still sick but my mom came with us…

Thanks! Yeah it is definitely not allergies. I feel like I was hit with a mack truck yesterday afternoon. I am hitting the zinc and vitamin C hard but not feeling great today that is for sure!! I am going to suck it up though for the pictures tomorrow and we are also hosting a healthy turkey dinner for my parents tomorrow…

Great job staying off of the scale! Looks like you are up for the challenge of no scale! I have to admit, when I looked at the pictures from Friday in comparison to the start of LP I didn't see very much change at all. Not nearly the amount I was hoping for and I am not going to lie that somewhat played into why I went…

Back on track today 100%! Feels good to be back and with all the protein I am not feeling very hungry with the lower calories so I am happy about that. Staying away from the scale until Friday since I know it will not be good and I don't want to make myself cry. haha!

Congratulations! Walking is great when you are pregnant beyond just weight control. It helped me with a lot of the pregnancy symptoms such as fatigue, soreness, constipation, etc. (I know TMI but soon enough nothing will be off limits haha). I had a hard time finding challenging pregnancy workout videos. So many of them…

Sorry I don't have much time today but my weekend was awesome. Had a great but went way overboard on food all three days so I am sure I will be way up on the scale on Friday. Oh well. Not feeling so hot today so I wasn't able to get my cardio in this morning. I am hoping to get it in tonight if I am feeling better but if…

Sounds awesome. Is the preworkout something like Jacked with caffeine and such? Or just BCAAs and protein, etc? Either way glad to hear it gave you a boost and you were ready to hit it  Weigh in was so so. I was back up to the dreaded 130 uggh. I hate that number, seriously. It is like the number of no return. I am…

Yeah thanks she is fine. Her temp hung around 99 the rest of the day and she was acting totally normal. I think she is fighting a cold since she started getting stuffy this morning but she is eating and sleeping and acting normal so she went to daycare this morning. We shall see if I get a call to pick her up today or not.…

Good for you on bringing your own food. I know that can be difficult. You want to stick to a plan but you also want to be normal and don't want to be the buzz kill dieter. I am dealing with coming this week with birthday stuff. People want to take me out and I have my party on Sat and honestly it stresses me out. I want to…

I am trying to decide what to do next as well. I am right there with you about Lean being my least favorite phases. I have to have a DVD set to follow along with though. I have the 50lb adjustable dumbbells which I love but I can't do just a paper program. I wish I could since it would save me so much money but the only…

The hunger is getting better but I am sure if I was working out it would be out of control! Once again this reiterates the point that fruit, though tasty, offers me no real satisfaction. I could eat mounds of it and still be hungry. From this plan, I think I have learned that my sweet spot for carbs in somewhere between…

That is cool, I understand. You need to do what works for you. Honestly I am ok with the recovery week. I thought it would be harder for me to take a break but the extra sleep and giving my body a break (and my mind alittle) is good for me. I still try to make sure I get in extra walking, etc but to not need a solid 45…
