Hi. I'm from sunny South Wales!! :)
-
2 months. I was always uncomfortably full. After looking back through my diary, it was actually 1510 cals.

I feel the exact same way. I've had hypothyroidism for 6 years, due to years of starving myself skinny. I've been trying since the end of January to lose weight, and although I've lost 14Ibs, my body refuses to lose anymore. It's so disheartening when the scale, or measuring tape number doesn't change. At the moment I'm…

This has always confused me too. I've done loads of research and still can't get my head around it. I'm on 1310 calories a day - my own set amount, as mfp 1650 was too much for me, and though I'm not gaining weight, I'm not losing either. Maybe I'll see what advice you get and try it out. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.

I assumed from the question you didn't have a HRM, I do apologise lol When I first got mine I thought the numbers were a bit on the high side, and thought surely this isn't right, so googled for ages to see if I was doing something wrong lol It's all down to body weight, height, age, intensity, etc and everyone is…

Hi. I get around the same numbers for, 30 day shred. They were higher when I first started the DVD. I'm now on day 8 and I'm burning around 280, I haven't changed the intensity of my workout, I just guess I'm getting fitter. Your best bet is to just fork out for a good HRM. I put off buying one for ages because they seemed…

Feel free to add me! I'm going to be around for a long time, with the amount I have to lose! I'm always happy to help! :)

I feel the same way. I've had hypothyroidsm for about 6 years and have always found it difficult to lose weight. However, with regular meals and the right amount of calories I've lost, so far, 14 pounds. It has been slow and I have been doing this since the end of January, but they say slow weight loss is better than fast.…

Thanks guys! They all sound really good! Can't wait to try them out now! :)
-
Feel free to add! I like the fact my diary is open so that people can give suggestions, or tell me where I'm going wrong.

Babybel? You could try grating one of these over your pizza, or even slicing one so it acts like a mozzarella. You could do the same with a laughing cow. I've also seen a lot of people use grated/shredded mozzarella and weight watchers have a low cal cheese. 45 cals per serving. The cheese I use is 95cals for 30g. I use…

I use 'Maggi So Crispy - Herb and garlic' it comes in a little packet - loads of different flavours, all you will need is around 20g - you could even get away with less. It has 81.3 calories for 20g and 15.1g of carbs. I'm not sure if that's low carb though lol
-
I use it to make a Tikka Masala, which is lovely! I'll be making a korma with it on the weekend. :)
-
I started tracking what I ate on the 17th of January and have lost 12 pounds so far :) Its great cause I can actually eat loads and still lose weight, which still doesn't make sense to me haha Congrats on your weight loss. :)

I was going suggest stuffed peppers. I use the packet flavoured Cous Cous, never tried the plain. I fry up some mushrooms, add spinach and laughing cow, to the cous cous, then fill the peppers. You could also add a little low fat cheese to the top. Place in an ovenproof dish covered wih foil and cook for…

I had an omelette for lunch yesterday, which was easy, quick and filling. I used 2 small eggs, a bit of 1% milk mixed together with black pepper. I fried some mushrooms with low cal spray and then added the mushrooms, spinach and laughing cow on top of the omelette before folding it in half. It came to 260 cals, you could…

I was eating 800 cals a day BEFORE I started tracking. Now I'm on 1500 a day, as a suggested goal by mfp and Ive lost 12 pounds, along with the correct dosage for my thyroid. So I guess upping my calories, in my case has worked for me. Now I want to start working some weights into my daily excercise and some other light…

Iv been vegetarian for 6 years, feel free to add me! :)

Yes. I get on it about 5 times a morning before I'm statisfied it's not lying to me lol. Iv even walked around the house a little before my morning coffee and gone back and weighed. I guess that's a little OTT, but I have hypothyroidism so I'm only used to the scales getting higher, rather than lower lol. It feels bloody…

I love Cous Cous, I however use the packet Cous Cous that is flavoured, rather than the plain stuff. I usually have it as a side to fish, etc just like someone may use rice, but today I decided to try something different and fried some mushrooms, added some spinach, parsley and laughing cow. It was very nice :) you could…
