  • I love prawn cocktail, with lettuce and seafood sauce. The sauce you can make with low fat mayonnaise and a couple tablespoons of passata sauce, a little lemon juice and paprika. It's quite easy too :)
  • I literally just finished eating something similar with pizza. Mine were a healthier version of the British favourite 'chips' and I covered them in paprika, but I think I'm going to try your version next time for a bit of a change lol :)
  • I have the same problem and need to lose the same amount. It seems like a long way off though lol I have found the more weight I lose the easier it is to stick to it, but I haven't given up on my wine...there are just some things this girl won't give up to be skinny haha Good Luck!
  • I had a nice lunch today and it was different from how I usually eat Cous Cous. I had a packet of roasted vegetable Cous Cous, with, mushrooms, spinach, parsley and 2 blue cheese laughing cows chunked and mixed through. It came to 346 cals, and was bloody lovely :p
  • I actually found this recipe last night . It seems easy with no fuss and doesnt have a list full of ingredients, which i hate! http://kirbiecravings.com/2012/09/worlds-easiest-pizza-crust.html
  • Feel free to add me :) like someone else mentioned I too am at the beginning of my journey so I'm still learning about nutrition, but I have an open diary and cook low cal meals, although I am a vegetarian so you may not find them useful lol. I'm 24.
  • Hi. I'm from South Wales! Feel free to add me! :)
  • I posted this a couple of days ago, on another thread. They make healthy, flapjacks/breakfast bars Why don't you try these! Low sugar muesli, dates and apple juice. The dates are a substitute for the sugar. I made these a couple of years ago, without the palava of oats and toasting nuts, etc. Weigh out muesli according to…
  • I just splashed it on pretty liberally and never had a problem with them being soggy. I found the vinegar burnt more than the potato so maybe add some spray oil to both sides of the crisps/chips. You could always add the vinegar after you've baked, but im not sure they will be as nice, you could also try it with balsamic…
  • This is how I make my pizza, but with quorn instead of ham and a lot of spinach. Iv never got it for less than 200 cals though. So I definitely need to cut back on the amount of cheese I use haha I use Asda passata for the tomato base too, its like, 25cals for 100g and makes it taste just like a pizza lol I use this all…
  • Iv never heard of low moisture mozzarella before lol I would have thought no matter how low in fat this cheese is, it would still be loaded with cals and fat, I'm glad it's not cause I love the stuff lol :D Haha if she looks like me then I feel sorry for her :p I never thought about Lidl. I'll have to have a look. As for…
  • We do have laughing cow cheese here and iv even seen them with blue cheese in, but I don't know how I'd put it on a pizza. I even think they are lower in calories here, about 27 cals :) I have thought about ricotta cheese but thought it would be full of fat and cals. Clearly I was wrong lol What about low fat, low cal…
  • If I didn't know better I would say I posted this myself lol. You seem an awful lot like me. I suffered anorexia for most of my life so I understand where your coming from, as gaining weight has taken over my life to the point where I don't go out and I too am young. I know how difficult it is, but you can't let food take…
  • I'm 24 and looking to lose around 53Ibs. Atm it seems impossible. Feel free to add me. :)
  • Have you tried Holland & Barratt?
  • I haven't seen it in H&B, so I'll have to look in Tesco. I probably won't like it but I only ever drink tea, or coffee which isnt good, as i hate normal water so I guess this coconut stuff is worth a try haha thank you :)
  • Sunny South Wales, feel free to add me. :)
  • Why don't you try these! Low sugar muesli, dates and apple juice. The dates are a substitute for the sugar. I made these a couple of years ago, without the palava of oats and toasting nuts, etc. Weigh out muesli according to instructions on box 150g of dates - without stones 3 tbsp apple juice 150g reduced fat butter Put…
  • I've been looking at Skinnytaste.com and it's given me a fair few ideas and has some really quick and easy recipes :)
  • Iv made these before! Basically, all you need to do is.... Peel a potato, slice with a potato peeler - this will make the crisps/chips paper thin, add your salt and vinegar, place on a baking tray and spray with a low fat spray and then bake for about 5mins. Keep an eye on them though cause they will burn quickly lol
  • You could also use it for a healthy alternative to a piña colada,or even make ice cubes! :) I can't even find this water in the UK lol
  • You could use it in a smoothie, or Thai curry? I suppose if you added cornflour to the water to thicken it, it would be a healthier option than coconut milk, or cream. Also, iv heard of people using it to boil plain rice, instead of normal water.
  • Yes, its a royal pain in the butt and very depressing seeing the scales go up when you know your doing everything right! Iv had an under active thyroid (hypothyroidism) for nearly 7 years and it's only for the last 3 that I find losing weight to be very difficult. I understand how frustrating it is, but with the right…
  • I think I'm quite lucky, (some may not agree lol) as I only tend to crave pasta and pizza...with a healthy twist :) instead of sweet things and so I just work what I crave into my food diary. If I do however fancy something sweet, then I usually have a few biscuits, which are lower in cals than a bar of chocolate and they…
