I'm 5'3" and started at 245 lb, at which time I just didn't wear jeans at all. Now I'm down to 155 lb, wearing size 8 (US). I never thought I'd be in a single digit size, so this is cause for celebration in my world. I have about 20 lb left to lose, to reach my goal. Jeans sizes are so hard to figure out anyway, with…

So far, I've lost about a newborn calf. However, I have 187 pounds I would like to lose, in case anyone is interested in picking him up at my place.

Why do people assume that loving your kids means letting them have whatever they want? He can do without your treat, because he has unlimited access to anything he needs within the limits of your household. Don't ever feel selfish for telling your child 'no'. They need to learn sometime that just because something is…

I don't think you're supposed to turn it frequently. Medium-high heat, let it sit without touching it until it's seared (okay, lift it and peek under until you get the hang of it) and you should only have to turn it once. Searing requires the heat to stay on the meat until the color change is done. Frequent turning will…

So, I didn't find the challenge until after midnight, but I'll go for it on the 5th!

High five, applause, and kudos! I can't even restrain myself from refilling my soda cup when leaving the restaurant.

I work right through it and never notice any difference. But, that being said, isn't it more important to do what YOUR body feels is best? Taking it a bit easier for a few days won't be the end of the world. Try different levels of exercise, or different methods, like maybe yoga instead of aerobics, for instance. See what…

I finally got up the nerve to join the YMCA locally just about six months ago. I thought I'd mostly use the pool, because no one in there is ever paying attention to anyone else. Then, I signed up to learn how the weight machines worked, and loved that. My bf got me a three-session class with a personal trainer, who taught…

Being cold all the time is my number one worst problem, but it sure beats being sweaty all the time! Not fitting into the cute clothes I just bought a few weeks ago to replace the larger sizes I already couldn't wear is also annoying, but much better than not having any cute clothes to wear at all.

I never was any good at this, but it's a fun game! You definitely don't look over 35 to me.

I'd love for the items to have both ounce and gram, or cup volume measures. Metric doesn't work for me, and it isn't easy to convert if I'm logging from my phone app. I also agree that there is no need for a dozen entries for one food, just differing in whether the name brand is on the first or second line, or other minor…
