I wonder if I already commented on this.. Hmm haha. I'm 5'9 currently 152 as of this morning (:grumble:) and trying to get into the 140s. I'm very short waisted as my mother would say so all of my fat is in my mid section. Goal weight is 130-135!

I've recently cut out all sugary drinks and have been that way for 14 days now. I am tasting that "ketosis" breath and I'm wondering if this is possible seeing as how I am eating 100g+ of carbs a day. Anyone?

I started at 170 (I think..) and I'm almost to 150. Let's see.. how did I do this? Well I stopped buying crap and I read a ton of books. (Primal Blueprint was the best!) I quit drinking, quit smoking and quit letting myself eat whatever I wanted. Once I learned about how foods affect the body I just kept trying to maintain…

Eat whatever you want as long as it's in your calorie budget?! Wtf kind of horrible advice is this? Fruits, veggies, and lean meats/proteins. Not processed junk foods. It's that easy!

Your "diets" have probably been unsuccessful because you need to make a lifestyle change. Sounds like you are trying to change the effect without changing the cause! :flowerforyou:

Alot of things... I weighed more than my boyfriend which really made me feel horrible lol Also, I can't sit in a chair for long periods of time because I have a short torso and the extra weight puts too much pressure on my ribcage. Sad but true haha :laugh:
