Hello. Anyone feel free to add me.

Hi. I'm not a bariatric patient, but I am a nurse who has cared for bariatric patients. So I know it's not the easy way out. Feel free to add me for support.

Hi. Add me if you like. I try to remember why I started this journey in the first place which for me was to improve my health and feel better in my clothes. As jammer mentioned above, I do play some head games in the gym to help motivate me during my workouts and make sure I have upbeat music so I can zone out.

Feel free to add me. I'm active on here, cheer people on, & like to be cheered on as well. Let's support each other.

Hey. I restarted my journey about 3 months ago. I have about 50 more lbs to lose...I'm down 10 already thanks to MFP. Anyone feel free to add me. I log in daily (the good, the bad, & the not so great) and have an open diary.

Seeing a dietician would be a great idea. People with high insulin levels typically should aim for an hour of exercise daily...that's what a lot of the endocrinologists I know recommend. An endocrinologist would also be a good person to see. I wouldn't just depend on the opinions on here...but would suggest professional…

Head nod. Good to see other women in the weight room.

Hi. Water weight tends to come off quickly in the beginning. Are you measuring/weighing everything? Are you counting everything that passes your lips? What cal goal did MFP give you? Don't drop below 1200 cal for the day....you may even want to try upping your cals a little. Switch up the exercise routine also...try some…

First, congrats on losing 480 pounds. That's amazing. It's hard to give advice without knowing the type of food you eat on a regular basis or the type of exercise you do. Have you tried clean eating or meeting with a nutritionist? As far as exercise, are you doing the same exercises or switching it up to keep your body…

When hungry, I eat. Also try eating foods high in protein to keep you full longer and plan for snacks. Planning is key.

You look great! Congrats!

I don't necessarily plan on cheating during Labor Day. However, I won't necessarily eat at a deficit vs. eating at maintenance. I also plan on working out that day with something tough like Jillian Michaels or cycling so I can burn some mega calories. You only live once so I plan on enjoying some chips, hot dogs, and…

I don't think it's selfish that you want to reach a healthier weight before having another child. I am married and we would both like children. I have to admit that he wants them more than me in the sense that I am trying to reach a healthier weight before having them while he would be pretty happy to have them now.…

You look great. Keep it up.

Physical attraction is definitely a part of the marital relationship along with open communication lines, and emotional/physical intimacy. I'm married and I'm in the process of losing weight. My husband has never talked down to me about my weight, but has only encouraged me and told me how beautiful I am. I decided to lose…

Your dad is amazing! This is definitely news worthy.

You definitely don't have to exercise to lose weight. However you'll find it very beneficial. If you want to improve how you look, have more energy, and give yourself a dose of your bodies own antidepressant (serotonin, dopamine)....then exercise. You don't have to go run a 5k, but maybe start going for a walk in the…

Feel free to add me anyone. I log daily with an open diary and tend to comment on posts.

You can add me. I log daily and have an open diary. Feel free to add me anyone. :)

Hi. Feel free to add me o,p. and anyone. I log daily..the good and the bad. I'm aiming to lose another 50lbs in addition to the 18 I've already lost here on mfp. It's definitely a journey. Let's support each each other.

Hey. I'm in Florida. I log daily and have an open diary. Feel free to add me.

Hey Dani. I'm on here to change my life too and congrats on losing 40lbs. Feel free to add me.

To me, your arms look toner and your tummy looks smaller.

Awesome loss! Congrats!

It doesn't bother me at all hon.

Compartment syndrome is very serious. Discuss the benefits and risks of the surgery with your doctor. I personally suggest having the surgery since compartment syndrome can potentially lead to nerve damage among other things. Good luck.

It sounds like you need to eat more. You eat 1600 cals per day is that net calories after eating exercise cals back or no? I weigh less than you and eat about 1900-2000 cals a day and I'm losing weight. Try going to scooby doo fitness calculator to figure out your cal goal and add your activity level. I've been using their…

Eating. I can't out exercise a bad diet. I have no issue exercising...just wish I could whatever I want..but that's just a pipe dream.
-
I love food so I can't imagine eating the same thing everyday. I definitely have favorite meals that pop up often in my diary, but I try to vary it so I don't get bored. As long as this method works for you, go for it.

Your schedule is insane. However, as one poster mentioned, if working out is important to you then you'll make it a priority. You can work out during your lunch break or try one of 30 minutes and less workouts like Jillian Michael dvds or the Firm 30 Day express (all of those workouts are 20 minutes). You can also workout…
