I drink 1-2 cans of sparkling water every day which I find to be a great sub for soda if you choose not to drink it. I drink it because I love carbonation and the variety of tastes with sparkling water.

I eat a lot of the same foods for breakfast and lunch, then vary dinner based on whatever we're making. Breakfast is either ThinkThin bar or bites with a glass of milk, OR peanut butter toast with a glass of milk. Snacks are usually a hard-boiled egg, cottage cheese, veggies and dip, pistachios, or string cheese. Lunches…

My husband usually cooks dinner that night. Typically we have steak but this year I think we're having lobster tail, which excites me!
-
I usually get a salad bowl (no dressing, not sure why they even offer it) with lettuce, chicken, beans, fajita veggies, corn salsa, and guac. Always fits within my daily allowance.

Looks great! I had a 300-some calorie lunch too - quinoa, yellow tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and feta!

half of a macaron that was on top of my husband's dessert (it's his birthday). it was heavenly.

My husband and I both alternate between quinoa salads and sandwiches. Usually the quinoa salad is quinoa, feta, cucumbers, red onion, slivered almonds or pine nuts, and he adds a little olive oil and vinegar. I just salt the cucumbers to make them juicy. Sandwiches are usually homemade bread with an ounce or two of meat…

I post mostly food pics, some "clean" some not. I used to have a food blog and write for a local food magazine. Anyone is welcome to add me! https://instagram.com/stacyeltblog/

Turkey burger with white american cheese, light mayo, onion, lettuce, and bun: 490 calories. Had grilled zucchini on the side.

A small slice of homemade wheat bread with butter.

About 2 months, about 10 pounds. I'm super happy with this!

I wouldn't say I hate it, but I definitely don't prefer it. We actually use plain Greek yogurt exclusively in place of sour cream. If I eat some, I have to have granola because I just can't do the texture.

Blue Bunny (mainly Midwest, I think) makes excellent frozen yogurt for around 100 calories per 1/2 cup. Seriously, some of the tastiest frozen yogurt I've ever had. However, if I truly want ice cream, I'm sticking with Ben and Jerry's, Jeni's, Talenti, etc.

I have an OXO brand scale and have used it steadily for the last six months (several times per day). Also, it's two years old. Still going strong and haven't even had to replace the battery.

Female 5'3" 168 NEAT; I usually eat back about half of exercise calories (I also underestimate MFP's allowances by half) 1340 BF in high 20% Work out 1-3 times a week (yoga and walking for now) I saw you asked about the fitbit as a motivator and it definitely provides me with motivation to move more. I love wearing mine.

I had pulled pork with BBQ sauce, french fries, and ketchup. This is not my normal sort of dinner but worked late tonight, so my husband just heated some things up. It was tasty though! Plus ice cream with raspberries and cacao nibs for dessert.

I love all kinds of fat, but especially butter. I typically use either butter, olive oil or coconut oil depending on what I'm cooking but would like to get into ghee as well.

Popcorn with a little bit of butter...because I had calories left and wanted a snack I could munch on.

I just added myself to the (BOTTOM of) the spreadsheet  My personal goal will be 15 pounds by July 4th but I need the motivation nonetheless. Excited to keep myself accountable!

I split the oil into servings - if the one pot meal I made has four servings, I split the oil into four servings. If the pan of roasted broccoli used 1 tbsp of oil and I ate half the pan, I log half a tablespoon of oil. I'd rather overlog than under :)

I've always been a huge milk drinker. Grew up on 2% and weaned myself down to skim as an adult (also down in volume - used to drink a gallon a week by myself, now I drink about 1/2-3/4 of a HALF gallon per week). I'm considering switching back up to 2% though. It tastes better and when they cut the fat, a lot of nutrients…

5'3", 1340 calories per day to lose 1lb per week, have about 45-50 pounds to lose. Just yoga and walking for exercise right now. It's working nicely!
-
As everyone else said, filling foods high with protein, lots of veggies/greens, and frequent snacks (for me, anyway). Also, exercise so I can eat even a little bit more! I eat at 1340 right now, and even had room today for a 240 calorie dessert, without exercise calories! Pretty proud of that one :)

about $500/month for two adults. i cook quite a bit, we make food for all breakfasts and 4/5 weekly lunches, and we are meat-eaters. it's often cheaper in warmer months when i can get more at the farmers market.

As someone above posted, weighing packaged foods is still a good idea. I notice a lot of discrepancy between what the label says a serving size is, and what I actually weigh. For example, we have a package of rolls in the house that says one serving is 74 grams. When I weighed ALL the rolls in the package, they were all…
