27 years young :disagree:, 161.5 cm (5'3"), this week at 55-56 kg (121.5-123.5 pounds).
losing weight at 1200 cals.
3-5 hours a week of mostly cardio, some body weight exercises, eating back cca half of extra calories (which I take from scoobys webpage calculator - calories used by exercise, since the mfp database and my hrm monitor suck at estimating).0 -

I'm 5'3.5" and had been losing about a 1lb. a week on about 1700 for a few months, but I started to stall out this past month so I had to reassess and lowered my daily to 1625 and have started losing again. I do mostly cardio 3-5 days a week with a strength DVD once in a while.

At 4'11" and 107, and pretty much trying to maintain at this point, MFP tells me to be around 1,300 - based on my shortness and sedentary occupation. I just can't sustain myself on that with a busy half marathon schedule and lifting a few times a week (depending on my mileage for the week). I go over my calories pretty regularly, but have still dropped a pound or two since I started logging again a few weeks ago.
I think it's all trial and error. Start with what MFP gives you, then work up or down from there after a couple of weeks. Everyone's body is a bit different.0 -
1400-1500 a day.0

You wouldn't recommend, but you are doing it to yourself, this doesn't make sense to me.0 -
Yay short ladies thread! I'm 5' and still working out what is my best calorie range - I'm at about 1300-1400 now, but really just got myself to the point where I'm consistent. I started at 142.6 and am down to 138.6 now - 4 lbs in just over a month - and it's been slow because it took me several weeks to work on getting consistent, lowering calories, logging accurately, adjusting goals, etc. I've always been most comfortable in the past anywhere between 105-115 so my goal is to get to about 110 or 115.0

5'2 on 1200 calories a day- no exercise due to back issues- have lost every week0
-
I'm 5'2", 55 years old and don't exercise much at all other than walking the dog because of a back problem. I'm on 1,200 calories a day and I have a steady weight loss so far of 1 pound a week.0

5'0
Start 250
Current 202lbs
Exercise is 3-5 days a week cardio at the gym and a desk job and sedentary hobbies the rest of the time.
I eat 1200 on the days I don't get any exercise in and 1400-1600 on the days I do get moving.
*edit* Another thing to note is I'm not super strict about measuring everything so the numbers might be a bit higher. I'm not going to sweat it until the weight stops coming off, then I'll tighten up the measuring/logging.0 -
I'm 5'2" and weigh 108; 38 years old. My average daily intake is around 1750. I eat more than that on the weekends, slightly less during week to compensate. I will vary it somewhat based on activity for the day but I work out most days for about 45 minutes. Obviously am not trying to lose weight.0
