5'1" here - My 'losing' numbers are around 1500 calories a day, sometimes less, sometimes more. As long as I lose I'm not bothered by it. Maintenance is roughly 1900-2000 from what I've experienced.0

I just started this method today...how is it working for you? I only have 7 more pounds to lose, so I know the weight will probably come off much slower than it has been, but 1520 seems so much more sustainable than the 1200 I started at and 1320 I've recently been doing.0 -
54 yrs old 5'1" 112 lbs and I am maintaining on 1300-1400 cal net. I do cardio 6 days a week.0

5'1" 45 years old, started at 135 pounds in August eating 1250-1300 calories. Regulated diet first, then ramped up workouts (other than walking the dogs) in December with 30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30- abs, strength, and cardio in 20 minutes/day. Finally worked up to Focus T25 and am finishing week two. Down 19 pounds... darn that last one! Lately I'm up to around 1400 calories.0

I'm 5'3, 124 lbs and my goal weight is 110 lbs. I tend to hit around 1200 calories a day. I do cardio most days of the week.
But I tend not to eat back any calories, just because I exercise in the evening and after working out, I prefer a light dinner. It doesn't leave much time for me to get hungry and start snacking.0 -
5 2" 110 lbs, 51 yr old. 1750 calories a day. Lift heavy 3 times a week, 30 min of cardio 6 days a week.0

This is a great thread, very helpful. I'm 5'4" and 55. I gained 30lbs in the last 2 yrs after knee surgery and a job change. I'm determined to get back down to 113. I'd love to hear your tips tricks? 1. Does anybody include alcohol in their diet? 2. Breakfast lunch dinner ideas? 3. Is anyone interested in being mfp friends for motivation? My goal is to lose the 30lbs by October 30th. I'm a rowing coach so I do have the ability to lead an active lifestyle. I took on more responsibilities for my job and stopped focusing on my health- I could really use any support or group suggestions? Thanks!0

5'3, 24, and 158 lbs living a sedentary lifestyle. Eating 1290 to lose 1lb per week, if I want to eat more I aim to work out and eat back the calories. I often end up a couple of hundred calories a day over my net goal which isn't ideal but I'd rather have a slower, more sustainable weightloss and understand how to change my lifestyle for the better, incorporating good food, than be 100% on track but be grumpy and hungry all the time0

5'3 and I eat between 700-900 calories a day, but I'm sedentary and my bmr is a mere 14520

I'm between 5'2 and 5'3, one of those. I weigh 176 now, started just around 199lbs on Feb 5th. Only started counting calories just over a week ago, which helped me through my period weight gain & loss, and I'm now down a few more!
I do 1200, though I noticed MFP is taking away a few calories here and there now.0 -
I'm 5'2", 48 years old, 107 pounds, 1 hour cardio/day x 5 days a week, on maintenance @ roughly 1,500 calories a day.0

I am 5'3 and weigh 161lb, my base calorie intake is 1330 and I usually burn 300-400 cals per day doing a mixture of cardio and weights. I have lost the best part of 60lbs but am feeling a little frustrated because I've been on a plateau for ages yet still would like to lose another 20lb. Recently I've tried eating back some of my exercise calories, but still no movement on the scales. I guess my logging isn't accurate enough!0

I am 5' 2''. I am hovering between 1200-1400 calories per day. I workout 5 days a week and this week I didn't eat back my calories and BOOM the scale went down.0
