but here's the rub - if you have been 1.cheating and 2.not logging accurately - yo u really don't know if you have been reducing your calories or not Yes ,see a Dr to rule out medical issues and also to check for other common reasons for tiredness- low Vitamin D, thyroid ,iron levels etc But i n the meantime you need to…
-
I think this is crux of your problem - too much guessing and not accurate weighing/ logging.

Should we be positive and believe in yhprum's law?

@ Ann - maybe kid does so much cardiac exercise that he needs to eat back the amount of calories in a meal lovers pizza?????
-
I dont know who Eric Roberts is or why what he has to say about MFP program is more important than what MFP says itsef - but just on above point - how is not tracking exercise making life that much easier? If you are already tracking your intake calories - which presumably anyone using MFP system is - it isn't hard to also…
-
you should eat back at least some of them - that is how MFP system is designed to work.
-
yes indeed - that was my point.
-
No it really doesn't here. maybe that is a cultural thing - it doesn't have different connotations or derogatory meanings here , it is just a widely used short word for any injection.
-
No, lots of people just the word jab for any injection, doesn't indicate any lack of seriousness.
-
Isn't it already Monday lunch time?
-
hooray. B) :D
-
I didn't know what to say.
-
Where are you all?
-
I dont have a yay or nay answer to you taking weight loss jab - but you should do it in conjunction with excercise and calorie counting (or at least some way of mindfully reducing your intake) - not do one and then the other as separate strategies.
-
Well, yes, folks on here are about the calories because that is what matters for weight loss - CICO I also think 1 week is not long enough to test any such experiment on yourself.

Cannot speak for Zepbound specifically But working in general practice, I have known many patients on Tramal or similar at the same time as Ozempic or Wegovy (similar modes of action as zepbound) so I expect the answer would be Yes you can

am I admitting I am old if I can remember when colour TV first arrived in Australia in 1974?

we need WAY more information. Current weight and height? Age? Current activity and fitness level? Location?
-
most of this thread is from 2017. I f something hasnt changed since 2017, unlikely it will do so now.

1280 is a lot of exercise calories., You are saying you burnt 1280 calories on top of your daily activity level? What exercise did you do and for how long to come to that figure?
-
Or you are accurately logging but the calorie number is too high for you. If you need be taking in, say, 1470 but you are taking in 2500 you won't lose weight. Your logging might be perfectly accurate, you are just logging the wrong number of calories for you Which is what Ann was saying too - log as accurately as possible…

isnt it baseball? do you call it bowling in baseball too, like we do in cricket?
-
Ice bricks we call them in Australia. Yes, if it is possible to take a lunch box like that, OP could take things that need to be kept in refridgerated like condition.
-
Like 'oxbow lake' isn't 'slough' also a term not used in Australia? doesn't my friend Google tell me a slough is what we call a swamp? Wouldn't both of above infer that answer to your question is in affirmative? isnt that the most long winded way of simply saying Yes?
-
I am spying on you 👀
-
I am presuming OP mentioned her occupation because she is having lunch whilst working - and probably not having refridgeration in driver's part of the truck - therefore things like salads, chicken etc won't be possible.
-
You must have a different interpretation of the term "meal plans" When I read that someone wants a meal plan, I interpret that as they want a set eating plan ie Mon breakfast; eat x quantity of xyz, lunch abc, Dinner xyz etc Tues eat blah blah and so on for a week or fortnight and then they buy the food/ingredients and do…
-
No, logiconspey that is not the answer nor is it answering OP's question - it is flogging your own soap box. whilst I accept that our food intake patterns are at least partly cultural habits - there is no need for OP to skip lunch nor did she ask advice about doing that. OP is an adult and is used to the western 3 meals a…
