Why aren’t sandmen and snow castles a thing?

While this example is a few years old now, it is still impressive, is it not?

Is an Australian snow man as afraid of the surf as a Norwegian snow man is of the sun?

Does Australia get snow during their winter months (June, July, August)?

Isn't Australia a huge country - so wouldn't the answer to that depend on which part you are talking about?

Do the billabongs ever freeze in Northern Australia? Would it be okay if I adopt the Australian word billabong (/ˈbɪləbɒŋ/ BIL-ə-bong) even though I'm not from there?

Since Northern Australia is in a tropical zone, isn't freezing of billabongs most unlikely?

Will you start using the word billabong and if you do, will your friends know what you are talking about?

The Chiefs getting favorable treatment from the refs? (Oh, sorry, you said loch, not lock, didn't you?)

isnt a loch just a lake, but one in Scotland?

Arent billabongs in fact oxbow lakes?

    Didnt google tell me that?

who has heard the term oxbow lake?

Shall I suggest almost nobody i n Australia - since we call them billabongs? ;)

So would you say "a billabong is an oxbow lake and not a loch, unless the loch is in fact an oxbow lake, but in any case probably not a slough"?

Would the loch or slough be considered a billabong if they were a small part of the billabong?
Speaking of Scotland, should I try a hot toddy to cure my cold? 🤧

Are you a Chiefs fan, @nossmf ? Did you know their kicker, Butker, played for Georgia Tech?

As a Broncos fan, am I not about as far away from being a (division rival) Chiefs fan as there is?

Like 'oxbow lake' isn't 'slough' also a term not used in Australia?

doesn't my friend Google tell me a slough is what we call a swamp?

Wouldn't both of above infer that answer to your question is in affirmative?

isnt that the most long winded way of simply saying Yes?

Since I’ll be rooting for Butker, does that make us rivals?

    Who is Butker?
