I'm subscribed to her channel, but I've never done the workouts. I guess I might start now though.

I'm not from Maryland, but I'm living in Takoma Park, MD right now!

Fruit is generally very low on calories. I eat quite a bit of it and have never had a problem.

I have been using my fitbit everyday for a few months so I’ve had time to figure out how to get 10,000 steps in. I work at a desk job all day too, so it definitely takes some effort. During my lunch break I walk around outside a lot and I make sure to get up from my desk pretty often and do a little loop around the office…

I've been using the fitbit for quite some time and it's actually startling how close my TDEE estimate and actual calories burned are. I guess I'll disconnect the two devices and just use the fitbit to track my exercise activities. Thanks for the help.

I'm 5'6" and 137 lbs. My ultimate goal is 125, though I guess I'll stop losing weight before I hit that weight if I think I look sickly or something. My family says I'm already a good weight, but I don't feel it.

I'm at my "happy weight" at 136, but I want to be 130 at the most.

Great job! You can tell a huge difference.

^^my thought exactly. If you don't eat enough and especially if you're not eating back your exercise calories you're body is going to hold on to the weight for dear life. Just make sure your net calories are in a healthy range.

First you should check that you've properly linked your fitbit to MFP. I would go to the help menu and look up the extensive section of fitbit help. If that doesn't work I would unlink and then link the fb to MFP again. I've had that problem before and it worked for me. You've burned 551 calories by the time you wake up…

How can I change the nutrient amounts that MFP sets? I want to change the sodium and protein target, but I don't know how to do it.

protein shake.

I spend about $130/week to feed two adults. I think it's important to ask where people are living. Groceries in Tulsa, OK are much cheaper than groceries in DC (where I'm living now).

I'd love love love to be a part of this group! It's exactly the kind of thing that I need :) How do I sign up?

You really do feel better after you workout. For me if I exercise during my body just completely forgets about giving me those nasty cramps that I normally get. It's pretty awesome.

YES! I was just about to post this exact meal. I had this yesterday and it came to 1270 calories. Totally worth it though as I think it's probably my favorite meal.

wow! you make me want to keep going. Thanks for posting!

Wow! That's amazing!

Always eat the skin. Then again I don't eat chicken that often.

I think a lot of new MFP users make the mistake of trying to lose weight too quickly. I know that MFP gives you the option of losing 2 lbs a week, but if you're going to be eating anything close to 1200 a day you're not going to be able to stick with this as a lifestyle change. I net 1400 a day, but I'm 5'6", so I'm…

What dedication. I hope I have your drive!

Put nutritional yeast on it! It's a great parmesan cheese substitute and it's very nutritious. <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutritional_yeast>

I know the feeling , but I think it's important to eat back at least most of your net calories for several reasons: 1) eating much less puts your healthy, steady weight loss at risk and 2) honestly, you feel like a million bucks when you've had enough to eat and your body can function properly. If you're having trouble…

At my heaviest I was DD and I've shrunk to an A. I would be lying if I said I didn't wish the shrinkage hadn't stopped at B, but it's what I've got. I would rather be healthy. You get use to it.

My thoughts exactly. Great info.

I'm a big beer lover and have enjoyed brewing my own stuff at home. When out this weekend and faced with the choice of a Miller Lite or the Wildman Farmhouse IPA I had to go for taste despite the 200 extra calories. I agree with the others, it's all about finding a balance.
