^^THIS If I started my day with kale, I'd be miserable. Eat what you would like for breakfast (include protein to keep you full).

I actually want to punch your doctor. At 37w and only 25lbs gained? That's AWESOME! You are doing great and in the home stretch. Congratulations on your soon bundle of joy!

^^THIS I still eat fried foods, gravies, all the good Southern food, but I eat correct portion sizes that fit my goals and I exercise.

Posts like these make me love MFP even more. Thank you, Steve! And Wonderob, I don't think you need to defend yourself anymore. You've done well so far and people should really read all the comments. When I read your original comment, I assumed it had to be either from his profile or y'all were MFP friends, and took it as…

Sounds delish!

Yummy!

I do this as well. So it may look like I'm not weighing, but I am.

Well on Sunday (the OP date), it was BLT with fried egg. But today, was a cup of low fat cottage cheese and 1/2 cup of pineapple chunks. It's like having dessert for breakfast!

My standing order with them was 2 Baja Steak Chalupas and order of Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes. I'd mix it up sometimes with the Steak Mexican Pizza or the Nachos Bell Grande with steak. I use to love the steak they had, but they changed the recipe a year or two ago. I still get it because I prefer it over the ground beef and…

My husband would actually weep if I stopped wearing yoga pants. But I only wear them around the house or hitting the gym.

In for protein bread!

In for the recipe!

What a succinct way to put it. This is exactly what I do.

Another soup eater here! I currently have three different types stored in my freezer so I can pick and choose which I want for lunch at work. Hint: For those that eat soup at work, look into one of these. I received this as a gift two Christmases ago and it has been a life saver at work:…

You'll have to thank your genetics for that. The FIRST place I lost weight was in my ribs. They stick out now, but I have plenty of thigh and belly fat to lose.

I only started cooking with butter in the last 3-4 years and am seriously PISSED that I missed a couple of decades of cooking using only margarine and olive oil. I believe butter does taste better than margarine. However, margarine has a place in my kitchen, too. And even though the OP believes they are irrelevant, olive…

I guess I am just old fashioned. I would never keep anything in my bra other than my breasts. I keep my phone in an arm band when I'm working out and in a wristlet when I'm at the bar.

That sounds SOOOOO good right now. Just leave off the 2K calories...

I will always have long hair, as short hair is not flattering on me. Plus, my husband needs something to grab onto sometimes.

Filling? No. But the 100 cal pack and 16 oz of water take the after noon edge off and still leaves me my precious vodka calories for the evening.

I blame OBAMA!!! Or laziness. Whatever works.

For accuracy, weight each one before you eat it, eat it, then re-weigh what is left. The difference is how much you consumed. A tedious process if you are eating several. Or just count each one as a single unit and realize you might have over estimated calories a bit.

Fast food is certainly disappointing now. The flavor is totally not worth the calories. I had a Sonic Grilled Chicken Club sandwich the other day and it was a sad sandwich. Then when I went to log it, it was even sadder at 610 calories! Do you KNOW how much more food I could've had for 610 calories?? I'll still eat fast…

Fear is a natural feeling. As you last mentioned, take this one step at a time. Try not to worry too much about what you are going to do when you get to the maintenance level, until you get there. Deciding that this is a lifelong commitment will help you. I've found that now that I exercise regularly, I feel like crap on…

Y'all are missing the point. It's ONLY 112 calories because she is NOT counting the fruit calories!!!
-
All of these. I add creamer to my coffee, though.

Blasphemy! NO such thing as too much vodka!
-
Supernatural! I would love to be in a Winchester sandwich!

Definitely won't cook in the crock in one hour. Even on high. You could put it in the oven for that long, but it'll be tougher/dryer in the oven than in the crock.

You'll want some sort of liquid. I usually use a premade marinade from the store. You can make your own with olive oil, water and seasonings. Pour over the top of the tenderloin in the crock and set on low for 7 hours. It might cook in less time, but I'm never home when I use the crock.
