  • not only no, but hell no. My ex, and so many reasons he was an ex, used to *kitten* why should he have to eat healthy, because I was fat, (he was chunky, but hey, only woman can be fat right?) Support your spouse. If they're concerned about their weight, support them, if they need to lose weight, support them,if they are…
  • Well, official diagnosis was plantar fasciatis. Got exercises and a steroid shot and was able to show my dog at Wesmtinster, and will work on keeping it from coming back.
  • Well, broke down and went to the dr, plantar fascitis is the culprit. But now I have a game plan I'm down 22 for the year, wanted to lose a total of 30 (would've been 40 total), by next month. Alas depression and my foot has kept me from that goal. It's ok, the dress fits and that makes me happy.
  • I have more than enough to lose, I am at 22 lbs since the beginning of hte year, 12 of the 30 down.
  • Awesome. The long term side effects are so sneaky though. [/quote] As is anything in life. I'm under Doctor supervision, and for that I feel ok with it.
  • I used a foam roller on my foot wed, and it felt much better, so bought one of my own. New shoes came in and hoping that helps Dog walking is not possible right now, although I do enjoy long walks with the four legged kids. I'm at work at 7, and home when it's dark, and live out in the country. SO right now, gym time is…
  • I am taking half of a 37.5 pill a day, and only during the work week (weekends right now are so busy, I need to have an appetite as I stated before). I am down 10+ lbs in the last month, and 5 lbs in the last week. Was in the Dr's yesterday, BP is up a little, but still in normal range. I have no appetite. I have to force…
  • Any drug can be dangerous to your health, if you are working with a Doctor who knows your health background, why should someone not be on it? And sorry, coffee=barf.
  • this is rude. If that's what it takes, and it works, it's not sad. Not everyone is you, kommodevaran, and to be nasty like this is just wrong.
  • sorry, yes, they do give it out, I am currently on it, and have dropped 10 lbs in the last month. It has curbed my appetite, and in fact this week, with a lot of stress going on, I am not stuffing my face out of depression. My doctor did say that the effectiveness usually ends after 3 months. I am only taking it during the…
  • This time of year, walking is out of the question, and I just find the elliptical and bike BORING :P Going to go back on Monday and just not do the cardio, and see what happens.
  • That's the thing, I was having fun LOL
  • Borzoi :) I ordered new shoes last night, and have taken it easy, worked out with the PT yesterday, but am forgoing today as I'm sick ;P Will rest this weekend and try again next week.
  • Thank you. I took yesterday off, from both the PT trainer and the boot camp. As my PT trainer told me, I push myself too hard, but that's how I am in life. I felt like such a bum for not working out at all yesterday. Funny, I went from hating the gym in January to feeling like a failure for not hitting it LOL Taking it…
  • yes, I understand that, but need muscle to replace some of this fat, in order to make myself healthier. I would like to get off the BP meds and hopefully lesson the asthma as well as strengthen my heart. You can lose weight and still not be healthy :p
  • The PT doesn't really believe in cardio, thus why I went to the boot camp. Surprisingly, the knees are not bothering me at all (YEAH!), just the damn bone spur. Wed was jumping jacks, hurdles, stars (that was a new one for me), ladders, mountain climbers (as I can't do donkey kicks). And I did squats in place of burpees. I…
  • It was a matter of seeing just how many I could do. Didn't do them all at once, was 25-50 interval :) We had a contest at work with teams, and each repetition counted for squats, pushups and stairs. My team won, as we stuck it out til the end lOL :)
  • wasn't sure if icy hot or bengay would work, but will try that tonight, right now icing it. It's just frustrating, sa I had so much fun.
  • It's actually lessened my appetite, although it may be the meds. I'm having to force myself to eat dinner, as I am perfectly fine not eating right now. I need to lose weight, I want to be able to show my dogs more. And I need to for my health, spent this morning looking at shoes. The sketchers I had worked fine for the…
  • I know a lot of the weight not going down is I have put on muscle, I am stronger now than I was,
  • I have it set for 1500, and usually hit 1200-1500 a day.
  • when's the baby due?
  • birth control (I was 120/125 all thru high school, wasn't until i got on BC at 19 that I started gaining, then a desk job, and a less thatn supportive ex(Why should _I_ suffer just because you're fat was his response when i stopped buying junkfood. . .and no, he wasn't skinny either)
  • you can do it, just think of it one day at a time, one step at a time.
  • depends on the man, some men look YUMMY! in kilts. . Adrian Paul, Sean Connery. . . others not so much LOL
  • it's a liftestyle change, and you can't do that overnight, it's one step at a time :)
  • word WORD WORD WORD WORD WORD LOl
  • I started Sunday, couldn't do it completely, but did my best. . over 200 lbs, but also have asthma and bad knees, figured anything I did was better than nothing :) trying to figure out what to do tonight as I have no desire to run in the drizzling rain. . .thinking of doing almost the same thing, just on the stationary…
