I'm proud that I have managed to keep the weight off for a week and have not let the scale dictate my success. I am proud I have not cheated at all and have logged all food consistently for almost 2 weeks. I am proud the pair of pants I am wearing now fit me with no resistance compared to when I purchased them and could…

I started 3 days ago..first 2 days my quads were on fire and burning making it hard to go up and downstairs but still pushed through and worked out at the gm too. Today will be my 3rd day and i noticed the burning is gone and I feel "normal" but also feel tightness in my abdomen muscles..so no complaints here ! I can't…

Please don't give up ! The scale is but one tool to track a single measurement and as tempting as it can be to constantly monitor that can do ourselves more harm than good. I am working out 5 days a week for 45 mins or more at the gym between high intensity cardio and strength training in addition to starting the "30 day…

I debated trying those but realized I could do just as good myself - cheaper and with more servings - but yes it's more work. I've been trying to get away from overly processed food..but good to know they are yummy in a pinch.

I have found alternatives such as a fresh fruits and veggies help me. I also really enjoy Quaker "popped" rice snacks that have tasty flavors such as vanilla creme bruelle and caramel corn and for 13 of them for just over 100 calories and 1g fat they can't be beat. I also really enjoy Skinny Cow Heavenly crisp bars for my…

I can't drink water either and have tried everything under the sun..trust me..I understand. I use Refreshe flavored water (Safeway's brand) , Low/zero calorie waters from Costco (Kirkland brand) - juice once or twice a week in small servings and 2% milk are my favorites. If I really want soda I go for the new "TEN" choices…

I'm kind of glad I am not the only one who feels this way..Again this is not a bash on your beliefs or anyone's or lack there of ( I'm Agnostic for example) - I just feel it's extrmely important to acknowledge no one can do this but ourselves. We may get strength from various sources but ultimately we have to want it for…

I can't echo this enough ! My worst offender was liquid calories like juices..Now I monitor that and only drink juice once or twice a week. It's amazing how much it makes you rethink your eating habits once you have to be accountable. Great work !

This in my opinion. I respect your views but please do not discount the hard work YOU put in. Be proud of YOU. :)

I completely understand , lol. I made the Buffalo Shrimp Dip from skinny taste with bagel chips but some of the other options when graazing weren't the best. For dinner it was a hamburger ( no cheese !) w/tomato and ketchup only , and 1 hebrew national hot dog. I grazed over a not so healthy buffalo chicken dip , a few…

I had to go to the doctor about 2 weeks ago because that nasty flu stuff had gotten me good. Of course they had to weigh me - No big deal it was after the holidays and I knew I ate a little too much..so I figured maybe a few extra pounds..then the number was staring me in the face..297 ( with clothes but no shoes on). NO !…

What a great feeling ! You are working so hard and people are taking notice and they should :) Last night I went out with my husband to a movie and put on a skort I bought last year that was quite tight and now it buttons with zero effort and fits "smoothly" over my stomach with no muffin top too..Its a great feeling.…
