  • Since you have knee pain you want to discuss this with your doctor to help eliminate injury. With that said , low impact activities are possible like water aerobics ( some cities have local YMCA) , treadmill walking or walking outside is still low impact and maybe slowly can increase speed or intensity, or you could do…
  • I've suffered from PCOS most of my life. I have found that for weight loss I need to eliminate the majority of white starches and non essential carbs for best results. I stick to complex carbs in moderation such as black beans , sweet potatoes , green beans , cauliflower, spinach and lots of leafy greens and whole wheat…
  • The only one I really love is Muscle Milk Pro Series Intense Vanilla. I freeze my blender bottles , blend the 1 scoop or two scoops then put the bottles back in the freezer about 5 minutes - it really helps smooth the texture and helps the flavor. I love it for that protein after a workout as sometimes I can't get back…
  • Growing up I never would have imagined I would wear a bikini and live it..and I bought and started wearing mine..at 300 lbs. I am now down to 268 lbs and will continue to rock on every year. I love how I feel and look in it. Honestly if someone has an issue with it , they can look away. Here are some photos of me in it…
  • I would personally recommend the Polar FT7. My husband got it for me and plans to buy one for himself soon. It's worked wonderfully through HIIT workouts , treadmill walks/runs and everything in between. Super easy to use, setup and change stats on as needed.
  • I hit my highest of 311 lbs this past spring - I started a LIFESTYLE change in May 2014. I am now down to 271.7 ( as of last Sunday). I was to the point I was seriously considering surgery and meal replacements , both which were very expensive but I gave myself a chance to do it myself first. I am so happy I did. I started…

  • I lost 30 lbs with only YouTube as my gym. I used Biggest Loser Last Chance workout and also HasFit Beginner and Insanity workouts. Both incorporate strength training ( I used filled water bottles as my weights) and cardio. There are so many videos out there and I live in an apartment so I understand. Though I joined a gym…

  • I get many of recipes online and I think using fresh non processed foods changes how you feel inside and out. I went from eating out 3-4 days a week to maybe 2-3 times a MONTH. I'm all for sharing with more people :)
  • Went to a baseball game tonight and had no issues with the seat - actually had wiggle room in my hip area for the first time ever. Feels amazing !
  • This exactly ! There were days I was doing my shadow boxing and saying it out loud " You always said I couldn't well F-you. I'm doing it now ! "
  • Yes it is hard and a lifestyle change but that is exactly the right attitude to have ! I changed everything and did things when people said I couldn't. We can all do this in our own ways. Thank you to everyone for the compliments !

  • I completely agree with all of this. And yes you CAN program your weight age and such. On your watch hit the top button on the right side and use the bottom right button to scroll down until "Settings". Use the center button to confirm this selection. Use the bottom right button to scroll until you see User Information.…
  • I love my Oxo Digital food scale as found here : http://www.amazon.com/OXO-Grips-5-Pound-Pull-Out-Display/dp/B0020L6T7K The pull out display makes it easy to weigh items and I use it everyday. The top snaps off to be cleaned easily too.
  • Made this for dessert tonight. Skinny Cheesecake Dip from Skinnytaste.com found here : http://www.skinnytaste.com/2013/05/red-white-and-blue-fruit-skewers-with.html I took a ramekin and set aside a small portion of the dip and topped it with a sliced organic strawberry and a few organic blueberries. It was divine and under…
  • The harsh reality is that no one can do this or want this for you. I've started and given up on myself even as soon as last year losing 17 lbs and things got tough and I gave it all up. I thought I was ready but I wasn't. I had to figure out how to control my emotions over my food and I still have days where I struggle and…
  • I love stories like this ! I think it really proves that we have to want it and do it for ourselves and celebrating those small steps is what leads to lasting and forever success and happiness. This is awesome thank you for sharing!
  • NSV this week : Went to try on some clothes that a few months ago didn't fit or weren't flattering. Tried on a white dress at Macy's that is belted. - Back in Late April/Early May the belt wouldn't even meet ends..now it fits on the third hole and fits amazing. Also down to a size 22 in some jean sizes ! Here is the dress…

  • Thank you everyone for your encouraging words it means so much!! I do a weigh in once a week on Sunday but felt for photo reasons a monthly collage would be best :)
