So carnivores would survive without agriculture? That's funny.
-
First off..Carnivora isn't a class or a genius. It is an order. And Carnivora order is based on physical characteristics, not diet.
Ok. So we can scratch all those comments about canine teeth and digestive tracts etc. right? Cause that is not diet that is physical characteristics. Right?
So what are these incisor teeth that humans have for? Gnashing broccoli?
Oh don't worry they will disappear once we evolve to the next level. Herbivore that is. But the tonsils and appendix may go first.

You're entirely missing my point. Even if we don't eat the animals, we need them to grow the food crops, or the ground has to be fertilized and nutrients replaced with synthetic chemicals. It can't be done naturally. If we didn't have the farm animals, there wouldn't be natural fertilization in sufficient quantities to…

Doesn't work that way for everyone.

Maybe. But I think it was the bread
-
Your right. More than likely but not always. I tend to do better without the processed carbs. For me they are bad.
-
Bread is not the enemy, however, anyone that I have ever know to eliminate bread, pasta and processed sugar from their diets, felt incredible within a few weeks, had more energy and lost weight. They weren't even counting calories. Take it slowly, don't beat yourself up and when you are ready in a few months, try a…

I understand, the bread calls to me as well. I do find that it makes me retain water but as far as actual weight gain, as long as I am not doing this more than once a week I burn it off at the gym. Another thing that i have gotten into the habbit of is eating a small serving of popcorn if I crave bread. Not sure what the…

Not at all accurate. I really don't lose weight. I just fluctuate depending on water retention. But if I did not keep track of things I would gain a bit. According to my "meter" I would have lost 10 pounds almost a year ago. I have lost 2 and I work out and eat really well. ooops

Ok you win tiger. I am going to stop drinking water.

In response to the cavemen didn't have water bottles. I understand your sentiment however cavemen were not eating processed foods, except maybe the occassional stop at the local fast food drive through. I think some people need more/less water than others but I also think most people in this country are walking around…

I am struggling to get as much protein as recommended as I am eating a local only diet, I don't eat meat, I am a bit grossed out by dairy and there are no nuts grown in my area. That leaves beans, eggs and when I can get fish as my only major protein sources. If I were in your position I would do one of two things. Not…

Maybe not too many calories but maybe too much sodium or alcohol? Anyway, I am not sure exactly what you meant about the stairs but try drinking lots of water and avoiding processed foods. Should go away by the weekend. And I too detest people who are mean on a site that is meant to be supportive. Sorry you have to deal…

no one wants to hear this but for me the thing that makes me get the munchies is coffee. Most people say it curbs their appetite but I have experimented many times and if I switch to green tea, it reduces my munching. Also try not to be afraid of fat (good fats). I had a decade of eating disorder and I got tot the point…

I have used ACV and for me if I have it first thing in the morning in some water, I can enjoy my coffee without an upset stomach and mid morning energy crash. And congrats in advance to all of you coffee addicts who don't have negative side effects. Wish that we're the case for me.
-
Good luck to you all. After over a decade of suffering I managed to kick it in the butt through diet changes and amino acid supplements. It's been 7 years since I pulled myself out and I wish you all so much love and support. You can feel better.

If you are on the East Coast I would try Institute for Integrative Nutrition and if you are on the West Coast Bauman College. They are both centered around whole foods eating. The East Coast one is one weekend a month with a lot of incredible guest speakers and is credited by Columbia university. Bauman College is weekly(I…

Please. if you are going to increase your cheese and milk don't get the fat free or reduced fat products. It's no longer a whole food if they have taken something out or even if they have added something. It needs to be (in my opinion) in the form closest to how it grows/is produced in nature. Dairy is the one item I…

Everyone's body is unique. People who are "afraid" of carbs like myself just don't function as well unless on lower carb. diet. I only eat brown rice, quinoa or millet and I still need to limit it. However, I also do not do well with none. I have tried that also.
-
I can't object to sleep either. Later.
-
did you know that "eating more veggies and whole foods and water" is a cleanse. So what are you objecting to?
-
You mentioned "toxins produced by the digestion of proteins". So if we cut back on proteins, are we cutting back on "toxins produced by the digestions of proteins"?
-
Seriously. Back to the task. I think someone mentioned replacing one meal a day with a fresh veggie or fruit juice. This worked really well for me. Sometimes I eat brown rice, mung beans and steamed veggies with a little fat for a week. That is more of a balancing winter cleanse. There was a time when master cleanse worked…

Got it. Fork in eye bad. Finger in nose good.
-
Poor wording on my part.
-
No. Are you trying to make up another argument?
-
What kind of medical condition? I mean we are not the healthiest nation. Why are you on here anyway if your body works so well?
-
You do not have to stop eating to cleanse. That is fasting.
