Monday QOTD: Eating is a social thing, but when people try to tempt you to eat something which you know you shouldn't, and (probably) they know you shouldn't, what do you say?/How do you deal with it? eg: When people say, ' Oh just one, it won't hurt.' etc etc Any good tips out there? I just politely decline. Most of my…

See... I was thinking about following my HRM but it is so hard for me to believe I burned that many calories. I know I was working pretty hard and not taking breaks between the exercises but it is still hard for me to believe. :ohwell:

Hey girls, Sorry to report no loss this week technically. I gained around 3-4 lbs over labor day and worked my butt off in order to be able to be back down to no loss. I will try my best this week to make it a big loss. Hang in there girls, we can do it!

Tuesday's QoTD: We've had a lot of questions about food, but what about exercise....what is your favorite type of exercise? Have you tried something new since you've started the weight loss journey? Do you have a routine/schedule that you follow or just do whatever? I think my favorite exercise is weightlifting. I love…

I hope she'll reconsider. maybe she is just stressed with the challenge and forgot she said she would give you another chance. I hate losing people. Especially dedicated people who actually post and keep up with the challenges like you!

Insanity will definitely work you into a sweat and I'm not sure you ever get used to Insanity to the point where it doesn't make you work for it. P90X is okay for cardio too but it has a lot of muscle building. Insanty is more cardio based. Haven't looked into the other 3

Hey Blue Team! How many of you all had trouble with the water challenge? I for one had sooooo much trouble. I had no idea I didn't drink near enough water. But thinking back I probably only get 2-4 cups of water on days when I exercise. Other than that I'm lucky to get one.... that's so bad! Anyway, this challenge was hard…

Tuesday QOTD: We all have challenging days. What is your favorite trick to get your impulses under control? How do you put down the snacks and get yourself off the couch? I just think of how awesome I am going to look once all the weight is gone when I have unhealthy impulses (like Zaxby's, yum that sounds good). I don't…

Monday QOTD: So we all know we're all here to lose weight and we all said why we want to lose the weight, but how did you get to the point where you realized you had to do something about it and what made you realize this?? There was never really a point in which I decided I needed to lose weight. I have been an athlete…

I'm really really sorry. I am going to have to apologize to you all for going over my calories today. Late last night (this morning) we were hanging out and there were some doritos and some chips and salsa, so I had a little bit of each.:embarassed: There were also some crunch bar minis and milky way minis so I had a few…

I'm a girl and sometimes even I feel sorry that you all have to deal with us....:ohwell:

It really just depends on your body type. I'm more curvy therefore 150 looks really good on me and 140-145 looks very fit and thin. If you're a thinner build then 150 may make you look big. Plus I have a lot of muscling so 150 might not look like straight 150.
-
The smallest I've otten was 142 and I looked on the good/thin side. So I'm shooting for 140 but it's very very hard for me to sustain at that weight. My normal fit body weight is a happy and toned 150.

THURSDAY QUESTION: What is your favorite food and/or exercise "discovery" since starting this journey? My favorite food discovery was that one of my favorite things to eat is actually a ceasar salad. I crave those puppies, especially a grilled chicken ceasar salad. My favorite exercise discovery is that recently the…

Yep.... pretty much. You just need to make your brain say "you can do this". Or if it says you can't say "WATCH ME!" :smokin:

I just wanted to tell you all that you all drove me to greatness today. I overate at lunch and was over 96 calories for the day by 2 pm! So I went to the gym and worked really hard so I could eat dinner and STILL be under my calories. I am so happy to be on your team.... it really keeps me accountable.

That's the one I'm about to order but I'm either getting the black and silver guys one or the red girls one. I really just don't like the gold.

Wednesday QOTD: What is your goal weight and how did you decide on that number? My goal weight is 140 lb. The lowest I have weighed in my adult life was 142. It was pretty difficult to sustain there, I was working out 2 hours a day and only eating around 1000 calories a day. I was obsessing. So why would I want to be lower…

Tuesday's QOTD: Weight loss and healthier lifestyles affect more than just the number on the scale. What has been your most noticeable change (besides weight loss) since beginning this journey? (You newbies out there are probably already noting changes too!) The most noticable change is my happiness. I am truly finding…
