I quit drinking alcohol, quit drinking pop, quit gambling and quit drinking caffeinated coffee one day at a time. I can do this weight loss thing one day at a time too!

JFT, I am getting my 60 minute exercise goal in, plus meeting my 1,200 net calorie goal (2 pounds/week weight loss goal).

One and one half weeks. 6 pounds gone. Feeling better already. Doing about 60 minutes cardio a day, 45 in the morning, 15 via a lunch walk.

What they don't tell you is that you'll be Proud! Started Jan 1, 2014 at 223, this morning, Jan 27, 2014, the scale showed 213. I'm proud! It's only 10 pounds, have 14 more to go, but I'm on a roll now, not going to stop.

FIT = Frequency, Intensity, Time Just dial up the throttle on one or more of these. I used to run at 5.6 mph, then 6.0, now I'm used to 6.3.

Finished my 5th workout of the week before work this morning. I'm targeting 45 minutes of workout 5 days a week. Today it was walking 4.0 mph, 4.0 incline on the treadmill. My boss likes to say, "if you measure it, it get's better!". That's the whole point of MFP. Measure your food intake and your exercise calories. Good or bad, at least you measured it.
