  • I have lost over 25 pounds using MFP. I agree on using HRM to get a better idea of calorie burns. I only eat back about 3/4 of exercise calories.
  • I have lost 25 lbs and no difference. I am hoping to see some change with the next ten. If not I am making the appointment for a reduction.
  • This.

  • Yes. I do it between 5-10 pounds.
  • Sometimes I might not feel hungry so I will drink some chocolate milk. That gives me something sweet and helps with my protein. I really struggle with hitting that goal somedays. And a favorite snack is peanut butter and apples or a bowl of cereal.
  • Some people eat them all back. I eat at least half to all. I know that this weekend will be high calorie for me so I am only eating half back today, tomorrow and Friday to balance out things for the week. You should be eating back some of them.
  • Everyone says my face is slimmer. I can hardly tell a difference in my pants. I wish I could go down in boobs.:grumble: I have lost 14 lbs since middle of January and feel tons better but I really want to tell a difference in the way things fit.
  • The weight will come off. Just stick with it. My new med is liothyronine which is generic for cytomel.
  • When I went in I wasn't thinking anything about a thyroid problem. I was very tired, hair falling out, so cold I would take a hot shower just to warm up, dry flaky skin and no energy. The dr ordered blood work and when I went back the next week I told her that my mother is hypo, two aunts are hypo and one cousin is hypo.…
  • I have been for a year just over a year now. I have had a huge improvement. I actually went to the doctor today for a checkup and she was pleased with all of my numbers (thyroid, cholestrol, blood pressure, etc). I had noticed an increase in symptoms (fatigue, hair loss, cold) starting around the holidays and just kept…
  • I go by calories burned not time. Some days I burn faster than others. Depends on workout.
  • I am still logging everything but not concerned about staying in my calorie goal. I have been very good this last week. I have decided to take the day off. I am not eating huge amounts of everything but will not deny myself a taste of something I want. As of right now I have 6oo calories left and that will not be enough…
  • My son plays travel ball also. I carry lots of fruit, peanut butter, and crackers. If we have time between games we will leave and go eat so I research places close to the park so that way I know ahead of time what I will be eating. At the last tournament I took fruit salsa which was delish. (recipe on pinterest) I have…
  • Eat the eggs. And if you can get fresh eggs (directly from the chicken) eat those. They are soooo much better tasting. I do much better when I start my day with a baked egg and toast. Spray ramiken (sp?) with Pam. Line it with THIN slice deli ham. Add one whole egg. Bake at 350 for 12-17 minutes (depends on how done you…
  • I wouldn't spend a lot of money on it. I have it and enjoy using it a few times a week in addition to walking on the treadmill. It is fun and breaks up just walking all the time. I step, hula, like the balance games, and wii Dance. Check online or at a store where you can buy used system. My children also enjoy playing wii…
  • I was wondering what happened. It is all good. I had a cinnamon roll for breakfast.
  • I had two slices of bacon tonight for supper. There is one slice left. I think I hear it calling me.....
  • I go by the machine. I will increase/decrease speed and incline and the machine knows this and MFP doesn't.
  • This, mine does. Or they could have health issues that you can't see. I have inner ear/balance problems and sometimes I need to hold on even though I know I am not going to fall.
  • I would talk with your doctor. With the elimanation diet you will (hopefully) be able to add some of those foods back into your diet so this shouldn't be a long term thing. Good luck with the migraines.
  • You can find the recipe maker under the food tab. I use it often since I enjoy cooking from scratch and would have no idea of how to estimate calories on some things my family enjoys. And I weight/measure everything. You can get a good digital scale pretty cheap and it is worth the money.
  • Awesome! I fight that battle all of the time myself. It is such a good feeling when I step on the scale weekly and see the loss.
  • I have wondered about this. I use them some myself and didn't know if it counts or even makes a difference.
  • I am 5'5" and 41 today. I have a medium frame and very curvy. I started at 190 and my goal weight is 150-155. Anything below that would be gravy but I am looking to maintain for life not just for now. Only making changes I can keep.
  • Because you are a normal person. Don't beat yourself up over it. Tomorrow is a new day so get up and make better choices.:flowerforyou: Don't let two days over take all of the good you have been doing. This entire month has been rough for me. Three family birthdays and mine is tomorrow. I enjoyed celebrating with my family…
  • Stop weighing every day. You weight will go up and down every day. Do not weigh more than once a week. And you might need to go by measurements instead of weight to realize your success.
  • I love this. I am laughing so hard I am crying. You are awesome!
